As hard as it is for me to admit it, I'm going to have to say it's WALL-E.

A_Tarkovsky

Why is that hard for you to admit?

I pratically had to be dragged to the cinema to see it. I thought it was going to be another average animated family film - like Cars. I was wrong and I don't like being wrong :(

Don't get me wrong, I quite like the Disney Pixar films but WALL-E was incredible.

Animal Crossing was never about the graphics but it looks alright. It looks like an improvement on the DS - but not much of an improvement. I don't know if I'm going to buy it. It's essentially the same game with an inclusion of a city.

for music that "has no melody" it certainly is catchy.

Nice. Tar us all with the same brush.Funky_Llama

Most of the guys that come into these threads to criticize rap are classic rock/metal elitists with no understanding of the genre.

Forever_Changes

by the way, what do you listen to?

And, uh, you do realise that recitative is sung, right?

Funky_Llama

it falls between speech/song but that's not really what I was saying. It was a comment on melody, although I could have phrased it better.

It's great... it doesn't need 2 threads though :P

I have to agree with you that it's the greatest SNES game. Super Mario World comes close, though. It's only now that I realise this - when I was a kid Donkey Kong Country was my favourite game.

The people stating that rap neglects melody and harmony don't understand what melody is. Because the words aren't sung that meansit's not music? Is recitative not music?

Most of the guys that come into these threads to criticize rap are classic rock/metal elitists with no understanding of the genre. I saw some posts by the threadstarter in another thread and he was constantly contradicting himself. There's no point trying to talk to these guys.

Open your minds.

No becuase this is a thread about visual art. ;)

tofu-lion91, the photographs are pretty cool. The first painting you posted reminds me of a particular Kurt Jackson painting, but I can't remember which one.
