I'm a pencil artist with an appreciation of good art, not that abstract art and pop art crap. Monet and da Vinci kick ass, Warhol sucks ass.

Zentrenius

I don't know... Warhol's Death and Disaster series is pretty good.

Are there? Personally I love art and I really enjoy painting. I'm going to study fine art at university next year.

Anyway, use this thread to discuss your favourite artists, periods and movements or even to post your own work - whether it be painting, photography or whatever. I doubt this thread will take off, but sure.:P

Some of my favourite artists and their work:

Mark Rothko

Chuck Close

Peter Doig

What? I love the group of people that make this argument just because Family Guy went mainstream after season 3.

While this wasn't a better family guy moment, the show is definitely still funny.

tccavey2

Family Guy didn't go mainstream, it just got bad.

harashawn

It did go mainstream, but it just started sucking as well. It became part of the culture it was mocking. The jokes were no longer funny which just resulted in them being offensive. There are some jokes that are so offensive people will laugh at them just because they don't know how they should react. That's not comedy. The jokes are half-assed, the satire could be understood by a ten year old and it's poorly written.

Elliott Smith

Leonard Cohen

Not funny.

Seasons 1 -3 of Family Guy were ok, but it's just not funny anymore.
