Sinatra was the first Pop Star in the history of American Music. Everyone from Michael Jackson to Elvis to the Beatles owes him a debt of gratitude. Without Sinatra there would be no Elvis, Beatles or MJ. He had the longest career of all the artists listed, and has the most timeless music and style of all the artist mentioned. He is by far the best singer of all the artists mentioned. Elvis sounds like a drunk redneck, MJ sounds like a whiny schoolboy, and the Beatles sound like stoned hippies compared to Sinatra. Not to mention he slept with more women than all the artist mention combined and all the virgin boys on this gamespot forum combined. Sinatra wins by a milejess3a3

was it really worth bumping this thread?

As for you saying that "without Sinatra there would be no... Beatles", well that's totally untrue. Sinatra really had little impact on the music industry when compared to artists such as the Beatles. There were far more important artists around at that time than Sinatra. I mean, look at Les Paul! He's was a pioneer in the creation of the solid body electric guitar and cited as the inventor of multitrack recording and overdubbing.

And since when was the number of women a musician has slept with some kind of indication to their greatness or importance as a musician?

They're pretty incomparable but I personally prefer the Coen Brothers. By quite a bit :P They're responsible for some of my all-time favourite films.

Tarantino is incredibly overrated in my opinion. Pulp Fiction is a good film (overrated as hell, but good), Reservoir Dogs is OK but everything else is poor. I happened to catch Kill Bill Vol.1 on BBC2 last night and that film is so much worse than I remembered it being! I mean, what the hell? Why is it considered a good film? It's awful.

I've never understood all the love for The Incredibles. It's probably my least favourite Pixar film. :?
