To be honest, im not concerned about the quality of 76 at all. Whilst i love Fallout i haven't even finished 3 yet! Im the George RR Martin of gaming. Bethesda should just hold their hands up to this failure. As long as their next game is a return to form then all is forgiven in my book.
Off topic i know but i only recently started Fallout 4. Does anyone else share my obsession with Cait? (you meet her in a UFC style fighting pit and she becomes your ally). Tough as nails. Hard drinker, and hot as hell. I travel everywhere with her now.
One time i emerged from a lengthy swim to my objective, and when i reached the other shore she was nowhere to be seen. i genuinely panicked. Luckily a checkpoint reload and she was there again!
@Pyrosa: I have Fallout 4 and have been playing it on and off for a few months. It is a great game. Just wish i could stop my looting obsession. I just have to search every container in every room i find.
That's OCD for ya, its kinds like the absolute need to reload my weapon every 10 seconds, even if ive only fired a single round!
@Foxhound1982: If i may respond to my own post as i think its relevant to battlefield and women in the military. Read a book called "Dressed to kill" by Charlotte Madison. Its the biography of the first female Apache pilot in the British army.
It accounts the incredible rescue effort at "Jugroom Fort" where she and another Apache attempted to rescue an injured soldier in the dark, and under fire. The rescue attempt earned infamy as they landed under heavy fire, and swiftly realised that as an apache has only two seats (navigator and gunner) they would have to improvise. So the injured soldier, along with medics and other survivors had to sit on the tiny wings of the Apache as they made their escape!. Unfortunately the injured soldier didn't survive.
But yeah, read it, Charlotte has balls of steel. There is nothing wrong with women in the military. But it is wrong to re-write history.
@SindroidYes it looks awful on the standard widescreen setting, but my TV lets you adjust the aspect ratio. i dop it down to 4:3. you get the expected large black borders but it looks better, or more "tolerable" i should say!:
