No, it really, really doesn't count. Thats like making 5,000 game system, allowing one of them to have backwards compatibility, and saying that the systems you make are backwards compatible.
You know, there is absolutely nothing wrong with playing a game over again.
If the game was good you would want to play it all the time.
That is the problem with games today. Its not that they are short, its just that they are bad. Everything mentioned in this thread is an example (Call of Duty, Resistance, Uncharted, Heavely Sword).
Its best just to keep the system the games were intended for. The only instances when backward compatibility worked out really nicely was when the Playstation 2 could play all of the Playstation games, and how the Wii can play all of the Gamecube games.
If I am missing another instance when it all worked out well feel free to correct me but that is all that I can think of.
You really should use that money to get yourself a High Definition television. Those types of games were designed to be played in HD, it would ruin the experience otherwise.
