Not to worry. The next one will be set in either WWI or II. They just waited until all three developers did their own sci-fi COD game before going back to the past.

@balrogbane: I think the remaster of CoD 4 has something to do with it, as far as the preorders of Infinite Warfare go. They're using it to prop up sales.

Isn't the release schedule pretty much the same with each iteration? Game releases in November, then the map packs every 2-3 months. Little has changed with this series as far as content releases (DLC), and I don't expect it to change any time soon.

Well, I know what I'm doing first once I get this game: reversing the cover.

@fanboyman: Awesome idea! How about A for main (aka: safe for store shelves), and B for the alternate (for the true fans).

Updates are great, but this one seems to have disabled the engram search filter, which was a very useful feature. I hope that gets fixed soon.

Two months into the year, before Black Ops 3 even gets its first map pack, and they're already announcing the next one? At least they waited until April last year. This just shows how little they really care about their product.

@mrdinghat: It's also misleading, as there is currently no way to buy the items directly. What you're really paying for is a chance (a really small one, I assume) to get one of them. It's gambling, plain and simple.

Can it even be called a "full release" anymore in the age of DLC?
