After a year I have finally returned to a game that I barely started a year ago - Blue Dragon. I beat disk one, and almost at the end of disk two. I gotta spend a few hours of leveling today to get my party somewhere between levels 35 to 40 to get through to disk 3. Time's been good to it, as I'm enjoying it more then I would have last year. Side note, I've been havong troubles with my comp as of late since it doesn't want to start up half the time. So I might dissapear for a short bit sometimes.

I've been on XBL a lot lately xD How's everyone been?

I've been pretty wrapped up in a number of games as of late.

Left 4 Dead - I've finish all 4 campaigns in co op and now working on other achievements in game. Such a great multiplayer game.

Banjoe-Kazooie: Working through the game one jiggly at a time.

GH World Tour - working on Bass in hard mode, then onto drums and vocals. It's setlist isn't nearly as good as previous Guitar Hero games, but there are some parts I do like, like how the game seems to read your pitch better then other music games.

Mortal Kombat VS. DC - My god they made it work, somehow they made this silly idea work. A cool story mode and a return to more cla$$ic style of Mortal Kombat makes me happy *tear*

Madden 08 - I think this might be one of my favorite sports games of all time. I'm leary of going to 09, from what I've heard about it. Anyway I'm playing through a season for fun on the side.

Earth Defense Force 2017 - I'm working through the game a little each day. It might be a budget game, but the simple fact of fighting huge aliens makes it a cool game.

Me and my friend played it from about 2 am to 4 am last night. It capped off being up for nearly 24 hours straight so it's no wonder I woke up with a stiff nexk and a headache since I slept till 2pm this afternoon. xD

2009 Is gonna be a different year for me. I hit the 1k mark this year, a goal that makes any collector proud. and I did get a lot of games this year. But 2009 will be a bit different. I'm gonna be toning down the amount of purchases (as you saw after September I rarely bought much games), and focusing specific titles. It'll prolly be really 360 driven this year with my playtime as Ive been really focused on that console. So don't expect my collection list to drive up much this year, it's only gonna be key purchases driven.

Case in point, the real key next purchase will be SF4 the collectors edition for 360 when it's released early next year.

Other key ones from this year that i will prolly get sometime in 09 are:

Gears of War 2

Fallout 3

Bioshock

Madden 09 then Madden 2010



And that's really it, as I focus on my backlog. Ironically enough, excluding Xmas presents, my 360 takes up a huge chunk of my collection but has one of the best playrates of my collection (ie that most fo the titles have been played to a completion (not gamerscore wise) or to a point that I'm pretty satisfied with my progress on the title.)

I expect though my 360 collection will overtake my ps2 collection (which is at 153 games) in 09.

I also expect to get rid of certain games I don't want, and maybe gain a little money or invest it. :p

Like for example yesterday I traded in a few "Meh" titles I had for the 360 and some sports games. whcih leads to my next part of the blog.

I sue a coupon to get 20 percent extra trade in cred, and use a coupon for 20 percent off (extra ten percent with card for both of them) a used game to get Left 4 Dead for $28 even. Surprised to see a used copy there since the game is rarely sold.

So yes, Ladies and Gents I can play Left 4 Dead now.

It took since October, but I finally delved into VP: TIP for some heavy duty gardening. I dabbled in it in October, but haven't really played much of it till now. With some heavy duty game playing the last two days I went from about 100 points in VP2 to 630 right at the time fo this blog. I've been busting my butt :P I'll be posting some of my VP cards I created and screenshots of my garden tomorrow. :) My garden is almost near level 50 now (went up fast :P)
