Yup, it finally happened. After r years of clean rep, a person on live gave me bad rep, because they got mad that they lost. This person played 2, 2 out of 3 round matches with me in ranked multiplayer. The first match, in the second round, I dodged his ultra and nailed my Zangief's ultra. In the second ranked match, in the second round as well, he launched his Bison's ultra all the way on the other side of the screen. So, I time my jump in and launch a lariat at the right time to cancel out his combo and beat him for the win. Then he sends me a message to not use lariat (I only used it a few times in the matches) and gives me bad rep. Really it's not my fault he has so little battle points. xD My advice to him, man up, and get better. On the other end of the spectrum, I've met a few people through Sf4 that I've become friends with on live. I respect good players, and Ill often send a message saying so if I come across one. I met another last night who played an excellent turtling game against my Zangief. I did win, but wow that match really made me sweat. It was super close...and when I mean close, I mean close. Also came across and excellent Rry player who played aa great mixup game. BUT, I dont't respect sore losers. Sure it can be a pain to lose sometimes, but relax. :p

Looks like its the end folks. Midway is going to sell off Its Mortal Kombat series. Without it where can Midway go? So who would you like to see The MK series go to? personally....it be Capcom. 2ND choice would be EA....either way lets hope the next MK game gets better sales. I liked Mk VS DC, but it didn't blow my mind as I was hoping for. Who would you like the MK series to be sold to?

Well, I've gone through all normal survival challenges! halfway through hard survival as well. :) Almost gone through all of time trial as well. and partly through hard time trial. For, hard survival challenge 1 I ranked in around 1200 out of everyone. But for survival challenge 2 I ranked in at 406 out of everyone on xbox live! ;D I Dunno how in the heck i'll be able to go through all those combo challenges for each character....

Update, I completed all normal time trials now too, and got two other achieves for all personal actions and all colors being obtained. :)

How's everyone doing at them? So far I'm doing pretty good.

After last night's blog post, I began to think about how I could embarrass all those scrubs thinking they are good with Ken. C. Viper, is having a real hard time - she doesn't have a whole lot of priority moves that work against the Ken exploits (she's good against other characters but against Ken and similar styles, it can be difficult). I get wins but still, it's time for a new game plan. It's time for my secret weapon... Zangief. I've been grooming him in the wings...he's the only character I've done out of the handful that I've beaten hardest mode with that I've beaten with on the first try, with little difficulty at all (with only one continue made; I need to take a break from multiplayer and go for a perfect playthrough). So, me friend told me last night, "If he was so natural for you to use...why aren't you using him?" So, I started to use him last night...and my how things have changed...heck I got booted out of 7 matches in a row cause i kept beating the other player's Ken. It's so satisfying to see them realize that their moves they spam fail...and their "strategy" has blown up in their faces. Heck, in ranked matches i scored nearly 700BPs in nearly minutes. I may not win against them all, but I'm pounding those players one spinning piledriver at a time....FOR MOTHER RUSSSSSIIIIIAAAA! I feel hungry for borscht....

What the deal is going on with everyone in ranked matches using ken? I mean come on, win or lose I don't want to face ken all the time! and the oens that do, spam his special moves up the creek. And if it's not Ken, it's either Ryu, Sagat or Akuma. Hell, I'd kill to face a freaking Gouken. It's just become an annoying scrub fest.... I'm not gonna get on the ken bandwagon, because the point of having a huge roster is to try other characters.

I've faced 50 Matches so far tonight, and besides Ken here's who I've faced, 1 sakura, 1 ryu, 1 Cammys, 2 Sagats , and 1 Bision. That's it.

Lately on live I've been using Crimson Viper getting a lot of practice in with her against a bunch of different opponents. Seeing all the Ryus, Kens, Sagats and Akumas on live, I'm glad to bring a bit of spice to the matches. From what people say I'm getting good with her, but I still have a long road of practice ahead of me. Now don't get me wrong, I love Ryu, as he is my other main (which in previous Sfs he wasn't) in addition to C. Viper, but part of the point of getting Sf4 was also to expand to play the other characters and see the awesome they have to behold. The roster of Sf4 is very top notch. I've dabbled with Cammy a bit online also, and seek to use her a bit more online as well.

Last night, I finally bumped into a player who could use Vega effectively. Lately in matches, I've beaten Vega players just about every time, but last night a player came along that finally used his patience and defensive abilities of Vega effectively. I won 3 while he won 3 matches as well. also have bumped into a few good Rose players. Glad to see her being used.

I can't wait for my Hori arcade stick To arrive.

Also, I finally unlocked Gouken and Beat Arcade Mdoe with all charcters. On to the next sf4 challenges!

This is getting rediculous online in SF4. I've played 40 matches online (player and ranked match too), and the amount of people quiting in the middle of a match has gotten way out of hand.

I'm sitting with zero battle points in ranekd matches because everyone I would have betaen has quitted on me in the middle of the match! i take my losses as a man, why can't others? it's a freaking ranked match too.

This just has driven me nuts.

I picked up SF4 Collector's Edition today for the 360!

So far I'm liking it and all it's features.

Though, I have one issue with the game, or rather the controller itself. The 360 controller doesn't play well at all with the game's charge and multi backward forward/up and down attacks at all. The thumbstick over does quick movement with the thumbstick and there's no control in doing such a move. Andusing the d pad just feels clumsy with the game.

All in all, In short, I'll prolly have to get an arcade stick if I have any hopes of doing Chun Li's Ultra combo. Oh, The pain of transfering an arcade game to the home consoles.

Though, Ryu's I can do with ease. Fluid motion moves are pretty easy to pull off. :P
