Gamecamiller's Xbox - Sep 8 2008

"If you didn't recognize me, it is because I have a new gamertile. Check it out! I think I like the old one a little more, but maybe that is just because this one is so new. In gaming related news... Gamecamiller is making me proud and his opponents jealous... even if they are bots or mindless AI sometimes! Check out the 26,867 gamer score! That is an improvement of 450 points over last time! He rocked out to NEW RALLY-X, SmackDown vs RAW 2008 winning 2 achievements, Gears of War winning 3 achievements, Live Draft Tracker finishing an amazing 12 achievements to defeat the game, Live Score Tracker picking up an amazing 9 achievements, Rockstar Table Tennis adding 1 achievement, and oh... don't tell Gamecamiller this, but I have been dumbing down the AI lately... I am hoping it keeps him coming back for more! MUHAHAHA!

Oh hey... also... I can't even believe that the gamerscore challenge formerly-known-as 'Auto Challenge - #14780' is over. Those 5 days flew by in a whirlwind of achievements and trash talk. After all the trash talk and 'achievement unlocked' sounds, Gamecamiller came away with a solid victory! Hopefully, we can get a rematch against the other 4 challengers and prove that this win was no fluke! Plus, it'll be fun to do this again. Keeps me active!"

Gamecamiller's Weekly Recap - Sep 8 2008

"It is hard to believe another week has passed. Here is the recap: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week Gamecamiller and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 2325 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 97 achievements has that effect.

I was lucky enough to sample 10 new tasty treats during the week! Game names are All Pro Football 2K8, Beautiful Katamari, Bionicle Heroes, DEAD RISING, Gears of War, Live Draft Tracker, Live Score Tracker, NBA LIVE 07, Rockstar Table Tennis, and TMNT. Look for us in the leaderboards... maybe... Oh, and I want to mention that Gamecamiller's favorite game last week was a sports title... Rockstar Table Tennis in fact... He played it on 5 of the days.

Gamecamiller's Xbox - Sep 7 2008

Like a king on his throne, Gamecamiller said 'awaken' and for him I did comply. 26,417 points represents the size of our growing kingdom. Ok, enough of this Monarchy stuff. That is an increase of 205 points over last time! He opened up NBA LIVE 07, Bionicle Heroes finishing an amazing 6 achievements, Gears of War gaining 2 achievements, Rockstar Table Tennis gaining 2 achievements, Beautiful Katamari, SmackDown vs RAW 2008 picking up 2 achievements, Boom Boom Rocket, and oh... man was it ever sweet!

Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... If you are curious, follow along over here. 4 other competitors are racking up achievements and powering up their gamerscores, hoping to secure a victory! Currently, Gamecamiller is nuking the field from his number one spot!! Here's hoping the other challengers don't go on any achievement sprees! We've got one day left to grab this victory!

And I'm ahead of the seocnd place guy by 900 points. xD I think I've secured my 6th win in a row.

I've just started gears and wow, it's better then I thought. Anyone up for some co op later this week? Can't wait for Gears 2!

and It seems that people always look to me for 360 advice at work, home, and here on Gamespot. if I keep this up, They'll change my nickname from bargain hunter to 360 advice wizard o_O

I even do it on the forums. On Gs I hang around general game discussion, legacy games and the ccu union and some other areas on gamespot. But I spend a good portion as of late in the 360 forums here at GS helping users with question about 360 and 360 games. It's becoming an addiction o_O

Btw I'm slamming the other peeps in the random gamerscore challenge, I have like 600 points ahead of the others who have only earned ten to 20 points so far! XD

After some thinking and advice from friends I'm going to put in a consideration for being a mod for future drafts. It's something i was going to apply for two years ago, but have decided now is the best time to apply. Knowing the rules inside and out, being on Gamespot's community almost every day, no moderation's ever and being a leader - I think I have the ability and skills to be a successful mod here and help the community out too.

To my mod friends, if you feel I'm up to the job, you can recommend me (or put in a good word) whenever the next draft picks happens. So, who knows, I might be a mod one day friends.

On other news, I've finally broken the 25k mark in gamerscore, on xbox live. Now onto the next milestone!

I know I have been away my friends but Ihave returned from my game collecting training to announce that I have hit a milestone. 1,000 games owned.

This is the last final splurge before the fall where I scale back drastically from buying games. So thatmeans no more bloggies about mass game buying till next year.

Wow, i can't believe I've gotten to this point. 1k games. Now it's about focusing on my backlog. :p

Some already know this, but I have two 360s, the other one is my sister's which she never uses. So I'm not 360less :p And I'm back from vacation too. I'll post more later today.

It red ringed today, my 360. I unplugged it and tried it three times over. Called the support number, and getting it fixed.

I know whats wrong with my 360 - it's the fan. it's become louder over recent months, and I notice a huge difference between the sound of it between a normal xbox and mine now.it also explains why mine is worked again. I just don't think it's cooling properly and the Fan isn't working right. Just like your PC - if it doesn't cool right, it's gonna shutoff.

"Gamecamiller was looking kind of weepy... luckily I was here to 'console' him... heh heh get it? Our gamerscore is fan-frickin-tastic 24,452 . That is a profit of 95 points over last time! He opened up NCAA® March Madness®07 gaining 2 achievements, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Test Drive Unlimited finishing 1 achievement, SmackDown vs RAW 2008, Naruto Rise Of A Ninja picking up 2 achievements, Burnout Paradise, Fable® II Pub Games, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave DawgFanForever in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 15,557 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...

Also, remember the challenge that Gamecamiller was participating in? It has wrapped up. After all the trash talk and 'achievement unlocked' sounds, Gamecamiller came away with a solid victory! Hopefully, we can get a rematch against the other 4 challengers and prove that this win was no fluke! Plus, it'll be fun to do this again. Keeps me active!"

Gamecamiller's Weekly Recap - Aug 25 2008

"Are you ready for a recap? I know I am! Giddyup: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to Gamecamiller throwing down with the games. We really made it happen on the gamerscore front. An increase of 815 points makes for a nice bounty. Those 46 achievements were worth it I guess!

I persuaded Gamecamiller to try 3 games last week: Fable® II Pub Games, SmackDown vs RAW 2008, and X-Men:TheOfficialGame. It was a mix of good and bad. Also, according to the records, Gamecamiller must have been craving some racing because Forza Motorsport 2 was the weekly favorite. He played it on 5 of the days.

So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one."

I also bought Spore Creature Creater today for PC. Got it for 9 new. EA did a good thing shipping it for a must have price of Ten bucks. :D
