Surprise

This week has been a barrel of surprises as I've been waking up everyday at 3-4 am to get to my store at 5 am - I've been working 5 to 2-pm every day, and let me tell you that can really emss up your sleeping schedule. I hope i don't have to do that this week.

Also I got a huge shocker as my store is putting in a request that I become department manger for all of foods at my store that means, candy, canned goods, freezers, frerigerators, everything, even dealing with venders will become my duty. But I won't accept the offer unless I get a signifigant pay raise xD hey if they want someone to get the job done, and done well, then they gotta pay up. it's like MLB, want the best players, better pay up then. Besides, I deserve more then I already get anyway ;) I think they might cave, if they want me badly.

Oh and I got like 3 points cards (haven't used them all, just one really. I've been kinda blowing through alot of the classic games pretty easily, the only one from the last set I bought that I'm really shootting for the goal for is LOZ, a link to the past and bomberman '93. A lot of the games on the VC that are good are ones I already own. Which makes you wonder, when is the VC gonna stop putting out shovelware (there are some real duds on the VC) and putting outmore titles we really want. But I guessI can't complain too much, the VC does has some mighty fine games:

I got the Internet Channel, Gunstar Heroes, Bonk's Adventure, and Kiby's Dream Course So far. The IC is something I never expected to like so much. The IC I think needs more tweaks (i';m sure there will be some in the future), but the IC does great with images, vids, and net 'casts. I've been watching IGF bouts from youtube on my tv xD. Gunstar heroes is freaking blow your mind awesome, haven't played dream course yet but I know that's good, and Bonk i Like, I might get the improved sequel next.

New Wii Stuff

I added 2 games to my collection...well you could say I own three

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, New, Wii $45

Wii Play, New, Wii, $45

And might as well add Pokemon Battle Revolution to the list. I've gotten some new stuff for the 360 content wise, I'll list later.

Oh and I own a Classic Controller as well (forgot to mention that during the last post). The games for my wii (Wii/VC/GC) are adding up to a nice collection.

I've almost beaten PBR Colosseums and on theverge of beating the last one, I can go through and try to unlock all costumes but I'm not sure if that's worth my time. PBR is very simple in it's objective. It's all about battling. xD

Work was hectic last week. Thursday I was asked to go to another store on short notice overnight, so i worked 5 hours that day, went home, slept, got back up, got to my store at ten, left at eleven to go to the other store, stayed there till after 7 am, went to my store and worked some more, and didn't get home till after 9 am. You can bet how I was feeling after I got home. The co-manager wanted me to stay there for two weeks but I said heck no, and so did the assistant mangers. I'm needed at my store as i have my deptartment in tip top shape, and help other people too. They would go nuts without me as my boss said. xD

I've pretty much been resting, as I've needed it after this week. xD There isn't a week without some excitement it seems. xD

Wii play is fun, but only if you take it for what it is. It isn't a big game, it's a collection of little fun "exercises" as i put it. It's much better with two people.

Back From Vacation, Got a New Game N' Stuff, Birthday, Work Success

I'm back from vacation, everything went well, and i got the house to myself till this weekend.

My Birthday was on Monday. Me getting old. xD

I picked up some neat game stuff while I was away. I got Super Paper Mario for the Wii. It's awesome, I've been playing it in short spurts. I also picked up the latest version of the Wireless G3 Pelican Controller for the Gamecube/wii. It's a white model, so it looks great with the Wii. It offers 6 months of battery life on two AAs, and it's response is dead on (I tested it on a few fighting games).

Work has been pretty awesome this week, I'm so on top of the department now it's awesome. I might be one of the best condition departments in the store in terms of look, stock and control. I'm contiinuing to make the top ten departments often, and scored a number 1 department position this week for a 104% increase in sales on Monday. On my day off. xD Yeah, go me.

I've been pretty tired though lately, and haven't been online much, so if you're wondering why I'm not around, it's just I'm trying to catch up on sleep xD and gettign back into a calm swing of things. Stress for me has fallen greatly, which is HUGE news, because a little bit before my short vacation, I was in critical stress mode from work. But thing are on track now and I'm getting back to normal. I should be online more by next week.

More Wii Virtual Console Games, For Vacation Trip

I'll be out of town for three days with my family, and be coming back on Monday, and they will go back to finish out their vacation for the week. :p So, I bought some Wii points cards so my family can enjoy the Wii console on vacation. The Wii System is so darn easy to bring on trips, xD Small and light and I don't have to worry about breaking it. :P

Thanks for replying all, to my last blog. :) I actually own most of the games already on thw Wii Virtual Console already in their original forms or in other forms, so it's kinda hard to pick games to buy. :p I don't want to buy a game I already own xD I already own all of the N64 games released, most of the Nes and Genesis ones on the VC. :P

But I managed to pick out and buy these games:

Nes:

Super Mario Bros 2

Kirby's Adventure

Turbo Grafx:

Bomberman 93'

Snes (good thing I don't own a TG or Snes or otherwise it be real hard to buy anything from the VC xD):

Donkey Kong Country

Donkey Kong Country 2

Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past

My family should have Fun with these games :P As well as I. I've played most of them before, but I wanted to own a version of these games.

Got Some Wii Stuff

I got my sis two extra things for her bday since she uses my Wii. We both are gonna use it so i don't know if it can be called a gift or not xD. I gota Wii Charging dock station pack by Nyko. This way we don't have to worry about batteries anymore because the wii sure can use those AAs up fast.) I also got a 2000 points Wii card for my sister to choose some stuff with. She couldn't pick anything (XD) out so I got: Super Mario World, Air Zonk, and Yoshi (a childhood favorite of mine). Games that she should enjoy as well as others in my family can too. :)

Friend Requests

I don't know if I've gotten all the friend reuqests on GS done, xD but I'm rpetty sure I have. But if you have sent me one and I forgot to add you, send me it again. :P

I played a lot of demos this weekend, on my Xbox, including a lot of Xbox arcade ones. Now I got an idea on what to spend money on in the future :P Also, myI got my sis Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii, and when we popped it in, it updated my Wii. I CAN CONNECT TO THE NET NOW THROUGH MY WII. Yay!

I'm Back With Some Games

I took a break from gaming for two months, But I'm back ready to list the games i got over the last two months (most gotten recenlty).

Yesterday I went to Best Buy, and picked up some nice stuff:

Rayman Raving Rabbits, X360, $19.99

12 Month Xbox Live Vision Gold Pak Opened model, Includes everything, Vision cam, uno and robotron 2084 arcade games, 200 points, and headset, but the 12 month card, for $29.99.

I got anew usb keyboard to use with my 360 and comp, and laser usb mouse. $32

Xbox 360 arcade stick, with astropop, frogger, and time piolet arcade games, $39.99, it's like paying 20 bucks for the stick and 20 bucks for the games. :P

(Gamespot is lagging while I type (dunno why) so pardon the way I type.)

I also picked up a viva Pinata faceplate for 15 bucks at Gamestop, and King Kong used for 13 bucks (for 360) Yes I know it isn't that great of a game, but seesh It's good for a one time run through. who doesn't like breaking dinosaur necks?

At the Gamestop sale last month I got Phoenix wright for $15 new, Sonic Rivals (PSP)for $20 new

Gah, I forgot the others, I'll get back to later for that. Oh andI recently got a new gfx card for the pc last month.

And Guitar Hero II for the 360.

Storms and Ouchies

I haven't been on lately the last few days because of some storms that have been passing by. We need the rain, so it's all good. I wasn't on yesterday too, because of a cut I received on my left hand on the tip of my middle finger from a broken Mirror (that I didn't break). I sure do be bleed a lot xD Ouchies xD

I picked up a couple of games actually - Guitar Hero II for the PS2 is one of them. I'm able to play it because of a special bandage I can slip on my finger so it doesn't hurt to play (though it makes it sorta weird to play, but I got it down). I love the soundtrack of Guitar Hero I better, but GH II's is still pretty tight. I've played a lot of GH II already.

I also picked up Mercury Meltdown Remixfor the PS2 today also, since it's for $9.88. I plan to pick up Raiden III(a new space shooter) tomorrow, for $19.99 (this is actually the first time I've bought from a Wal-Mart store in months. The last two, you should get while you can, beucase those two will fade out quick.

I've also been catching up on some Z's (Guess I needed the sleep).

Man it hurts to type with this dang cut xX (it's ok to press witht he side of my finger, but when I'm doing something like typing or openng boxes, it stings because i have to press weight on the cut.)

Update, Added Aegis Wing (Free XBLA game) to my my collection :P

I've Played A Lot Of Games This Weekend :P

Let's see if I can name them all :P

PS2:

Vampire Night - I like this game! I beat arcade mode on the first try though. xD It's pretty cool though, and one of the better shooters I've ever played.

Time Crisis II - pretty good game too.

Guitar Heroes - I dusted off my Guitar (literally! It had a bunch of dust on it :P) and jammd to some tunes.

Sonic Riders - pretty much finishing up collecting things.

PSone (I need to get the original Guncon):

Time Crisis: Project Titan

Point Blank

PSP:

Capcom Classics Collection Remixed - Play through some neat arcade games - some show their age, but some are still fun today like 1941)

DS:

New Super Mario Bros.

Game boy:

Kirby's Dreamland 2

Super Mario Land

Wii:

Sonic and The Secret Rings - This game is awesome - one of the games that makes me happy to play Sonic again and gives me new hope for him.

I think that's all of them :P What did you play this weekend?

I Did a Bunch Of Stuff Today

Yup, yup, today was a busy day. :) First of all, I continued work on painting the bench outside - I'm almost done with that. I got the box with my dog Blackjack ashes inside today ( I had him cremated). I'm gonna put a staue of him on the wooden box.

I also got a package in the mail from a trade I made with Waffle:

WWF RAW, Cart Only, Genesis

Rippin' Riders, Disk Only, Dreamcast

I also got some demos and stuff. :) But the neatest thing of all is some Monster Rancher Evo cards.

Monster Rancher Rules, Remember that.

I watched Ghost In The Shell on UMD on my PSP. First Time I've seen it in a widescreen version. Still a good movie after all these years.

I also pretty much gotten through most of Sonic Riders. I gave the game a 7.0, but it's a "rent it first" title. Initially, I didn't like the game at all, but as I played it, I grew a bit attached to it. It's a game that's hard to get used to at first, but the game's value and tracks help bring the score up. If you get good at it, you'll like it, but if you ca't get used to the game's intensity well - you're gonna hate it. Sonic Advance 2 I'm in love with, and New Super Mario Bros is awesome.

I went to White Marsh Mall to pay some bills, with my Mom and Sis. The mall has tto freaking Gamestops! and two Cingular Stores! I was looking around, but it seems I'm being really picky with game buying as of late. I'm prolly gonna be buying less for a while, until deals start picking back up :P. I've added Viewtiful Joe for the GCN, F-Zero GX and Monster Rancher Evo to my wish list, I'll prolly pick those up later down the line. I did pick  up one game that I had to get, bcuase it's hard for me to find:

Vampire Night, PS2, Complete, Good shape, $13.49

This game is a light gun game, and looks awesome. I think this wekkeend's gamign might center around my Wii system, and my PS2 Light Gun games. I've gotten a few, and I think it's time to break out the old Guncon and whoop some badies! Point Blank, Time Crisis Titan, Time Crisis 2, 3, and Vampire Night. Sounds like gaming fun!

I also went to Suncoast. The sell used movies now oO (boy, I;ve been under a rock). I actally picked up sme anime dvds for the first time in years. xD (I don't buy dvds often) and my bargain hunting skills lead to this:

Final Fantasy Unlimited, Complete Series Box set, $29.99 (woo hoo, I can finally see the whole series of one of my fav animes).

And via a buy 5 for $15 total sale:

CaseClosed: In Hot Pursuit, (Includes 6 epsiodes, uncut) (eps 10-15)

Case Closed: The Desperate Truth (eps 56-58)

Case Closed: Like Old Times (59-61)

Case Closed: Broken Dreams (Eps 62-64)

Case Closed: Dubious Intent (65-67)

So, my bargain hunting skills extend further then just games. :P Detective Conan is a series  liked but could not see much of because of working overnights. Now with the work change, I got more time for things, such as gaming and spending time with my family. :)

I also went to a Asian Buffet place with my familly...I think I ate too much... food so good...
