I need a graphics card that will handle basic video editing in hd. My brother needs it because he puts a helmet cam on when he rides in the desert and wants to cut/delete/edit parts of the long 27 min movie or so. Right now his laptop plays the movie at like 3 fps lol. I was thinking the this HD 5450 512 mb 64 bit ddr3 card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125314

Is this card to much to little or just right?

Thanks

I haven't seen too many motherboards that allow you to do RAID5. Usually the RAID controllers are cheap imitations of the real thing.d-rtyboy
Ok ya I'm an idiot, no raid 5. But I try raid 1 or 10 and the same thing happends. I cant get the to welcome screen... :(

I have a ssd with my windows 7 on it and I wanted to make a raid 5 on the side with hdds. But it wont work... I set the raid in the bios and set the raid by hitting "ctrl f" save everything and it looks like everything is jsut fine till i get the screen just before the "Welcome screen" if freezes then gets a .5 sec blue screen and starts over. Do I have to set my ssd with the os as a JBOD? or what?

[QUOTE="GGameBoy"]

I only have the pci x1 slot availible and i want a raid 0 set up. if I go 2 OCZ's solid state2 30 GB in a raid 0 with the arc-1200 will that give me good performance? Cause I heard that the pci x1 slot gets a max of 300 mb/s or 180 mb/s I dont rem. Well will it be worth it to do the raid or should i get a single 60GB ssd?

My rig

3 ghz quad amd am2+

8 GBs ram 800 DDR2

9500gt 512 ram

ect...

MaoTheChimp

Pardon me asking, but what do you intend on using these SSD's for? I'm a bit confused as to why you're going for a high data-rate drive configuration with such a lackluster system.

awwww burn!
