the playstation controller is easier to use, and u can master it faster ex: pick up any game and be able to know every control , motion movement , combo ,etc in the game just by looking at the game or clicking only the square, tringle, cirlce and x button and feeling the controller in ur hand lolRoushrsh
How is that different than any other controller? I prefer the offset joystick... thats the main reason i only own a 360 at the moment. i owned a ps1 and ps2 and id have to say FPS games are just much easier with offset sticks... same with racing games. Then again its all just opinion.

I played with Mark Rein, hes on my list but never on. He usually only plays when Gears gets an update in order to check out what people are complaining about.

I heard MS grabbed the sequal rights to Dead Rising because it sold so well, so probably not. Capcom also said they wanna make more Xbox titles... so which better title to keep on the 360 than the one that sold a few million? I wouldnt mind if the PS3 got the first one when the sequal comes out because it really was a great game

[QUOTE="CupkakeBoy"]Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell Conviction that is line up motherloversMaverick128
Seeing as Halo 1 and 2 both sucked, more than likely Halo 3 will also blow chunks. Besides, it'll eventually come out for PC for those who don't want to spend their money on a 360. That same fate will occur to Splinter Cell except you won't have to wait as it'll come out at the same time. I don't even see it as being much of a stretch to see the others on PC as well with MS pushing their "Games for Windows" crap as much as they are. IF all those games will eventually come out on PC, what's the point of having a 360 when you obviously can just invest the money you would have spent on a better video card and some more memory.

Your right, why should buy a 360 for all these games i love to play on consoles. Halo 3 will also suck... especially after the last two went over SO BADLY with the public... i mean really.... who bought a Halo game? MS having 2 platforms is a horrible idea as well (Yea, the PC is a MS platform) because why would i want a choice as to where i can play my games? Thats absurd! I would never want some of the great PC games (GFW) to ever come to the 360... EVER! because I hate choice and selection.... don't you? Its pathetic how much people whine about the other console on these forums... and then get angry when trolls come in... "Hey lets make a thread about how the ps3 will be the best console ever, and say all the other consoles are garbage. Then when its created we can all act surprised that trolls came in!"

One thing a lot of people dont realize is that many games have very realistic physics. FEAR, SplinterCell, CrackDown, Gears all have amazing physics... but Half Life 2's gameplay was so set around moving things around because at points that was your only weapon. There are plenty of glitches in Half Life 2's physics, but since you are suppose to use objects, and you throw so much stuff it seems like the physics are even more amazing. Honestly I think CrackDown already has better physics than Half Life 2, but the game it not focussed around it as much. First game i think will use physics like HL2, and do it better will be Half Life 2 Orange.

Oh gosh ......the fact that the rumble problem has been partly solved by a company called Splitfish........ * should be STICKED:?*.....with a product called SensorFX. The most notable thing about it is that is uses NO MOVING parts so Immersion is not even a factor anymore...Article... nexusprime
3rd party controllers are always crap

[QUOTE="Gzus666"][QUOTE="michael098"]Why the **** should he shut up???? alot of people think that rumble is better than motion senceing, the motion sencing is fun for like 10 mins and then u wish you had rumble, just wait till you get a racing game like motorstorm and then you'll wish the controller had rumble, and sixaxis can work with rumble, its been done before. Maverick128
actually i like playing motorstorm with motion SENSING(learn to spell) and rumble was crap, shaking my hands doesnt change the game for me, i can steer with motion sensing, blast factor has a nice use of the sixaxis and its only been out a bit, stop complaining, they will find ways to use it. i always turned rumble off, cause it was retarded.

EXACTLY. If having your hands vibrate immerses you in a game, you've got other issues we can't help with. It's really past time to just drop the rumble crap.

If tilting a control that in no way resembles a steering wheel immerses you in a game... you have problems we cannot help you with. Try unlocking a door in Splinter Cell without rumble feedback to tell you you're getting it right, when your characters getting shot up the simulated heartbeat can add a lot to the moment. To say rumble is pointless is just plain dumb when thats what made the dual shock everyones favorite controller in the first place. Compared to the dual shock the six axis is coming across as rubbish. Tilt works for the Wii, because thats the primary control scheme, at all times. With the Ps3 tilt is just a perk, that in most cases just isn't fun at all.

the sixaxis lack of rumble is not the same as the psp lack of analog. rumble is feedback and it should have nothing to do with how a reviewer rate the game. the psp analog does have an effect on the controls and gameplay. rued2k6
Uh, if youre playing a racing game and you can't tell when your engine is overheating, or when your tire hits the "Rumble strip"... it makes the game less enjoyable. So yea, lack of rumble should come into play with the reviews when it can make or break a game for someone. Rumble is needed in some games, and some games it doesn't matter. However, tilt controls are not needed in any game. It comes across as an additional control seem that to most seems gimmicky.
