I was just living life a few days ago and out of nowhere I started to think about this cool feature that could be implemented in GTA games.

Imagine your running from the police. You got much heat on you, lets say atleast four stars. Now, in the game, the only way you can survive (WITHOUT using cheats) is to stay in a vehicle, or any other means. However, once you walk on an open road, you know your screwed. However, imagine if you could take a random pedestrian and hold him/her hostage. You can now cautiously walk on to the road, even with a four star rating, and probably get what you want (make you way to an escape vehicle, chopper, etc). It'll be a minigame of some kind. You have to be extra careful to make sure there are no snipers trying to take you out, and you have to always be moving, because officers will take shots at you in order to free the victim. Also, depending on which victim you take, they will react differently. Take a guy/girl bigger than you, then he/she will slow you down as you walk, and even beat you up in order to escape. Take someone smaller, and they will do whatever you want. What do you guys think? A good implentation on next gen games?

DON'T get a ps3. Its way too expensive, and the games arent all that great yet.

There are tons of enjoyable co-op games on Ps2, so dont buy into the hype of next gen yet.

I suggest Timesplitters 2/3, or Baldurs Gate.

Burnout 2/3
Timesplitters 3
Devil may cry 3
Prince of persia: SoT
God of war 1hot114

I COMPLETELY agree with you on Timesplitters and Burnout 3. Atleast there are some gamers who dont buy into the medias hype around overrated games like Halo and all the extra useless accessories Bungie seems to throw in. (Halo's a great game though)

To the original poster, Flatout 2 is a blatant ripoff of Burnout 3/4. Get Burnout, its way better- take it from me, a guy who usually hates EA games. Burnout is one of their more promising games. Maybe because Criterion is apart of it, but nonetheless, I suggest you stay away from Flatout.

Other games I suggest:

Ratchet and CLank Up your arsenal

Smackdown vs Raw 2006

Dark Cloud 2

Timesplitters 2

"so should i by it or not? " Dude, What kind of question is that? Theres barely any news on the game, and you already want to know if you should buy it? Based on what? The fact that wrestling game fans and SVR producers hyping it up?

You have to wait, wait, wait, wait, right until the day its available- THEN ask that question, because as of now, know one will give you a guaranteed answer.

Many games, probably most popular would be MGS, are a mixture of gameplay and cinematic quality cut scenes. Your opinion on my so called "cinegames"?

NOTE: Option #2 says: MGS did a fantastic job, so I'm all for other companies making CineGames

Option #3 says: Metal Gear Solids' Cinegames sucked! The Cutscenes were longer than the game- I paid for a game!

The Sims!

...

...

People would love to see Zelda. That may be interesting to kids and fanboys of Zelda. However this is why I think American media is cr@p. The following is just made for the sake of cashing in money in most cases. Also, you should note that the following is whats wrong with the media, and their idea of "talent":

1) Movies into games

2) Games into movies

3) Artists into actors

4) Actors into artists

I can go on, but do you see my point? Although the idea would be nice, movie producers making movies from video games, and possibly any one of the other three points are listed are never done right. In the case of a videogame into a movie, the producer will do a half @ss job and expect sales to ride on the hype and the success of the videogame.

Your probably the small percent of people who experience seizures/headaches/migraines from videogames....thats what all the PS2 manuals say. See? Its important to read. I suggest you check it out with a doctor, honestly, Im not trying to be mean, but: Dont be an idiot- consult a doctor or you may find yourself in something more serious.
