I want a new RPG and I love Level 5 (Dark Cloud 2 was beautiful).

I hope they come out with Dark Cloud 3, I really hope they realize that they have a good fanbase with that game.

where do u enter the beta key?? i just got one sorta idk if its legit or not lolurio1

Go to XMB and click "Account Management"

go to "Transactions Management" and then select "redeem PSN card or promotional card" and enter it in.

I wouldnt suggest making levels though since most of them cannot be converted into the final version (BEta ends Saturday too)

I love the game, but I do have a few quips. Text chat is too hard on the keypad (dumb, I know) and when making a level, I wish you could have multiple save slots to test different possibilities. Also, If you could edit your published level I would be so happy because my level is probably going to be ignored because of the two broken versions next to it that won't delete.Wardemon50

You can edit your published levels...

Anyways, I don't like giving 10/10's but I have given them to 2 or three games. With that said, I DO, based on the Beta alone, give this a 10/10. It's just so different and there truly aren't words to describe it-- you MUST sit down and play it to understand.

50 + levels plus a community of gamers who make levels that are in endless supply= perfect game.In creation there is a great variety of tools and seeing that the Beta is months old, the actual product will feature tons of more features and items to play around with.

It's a 10/10 in my books. Fantastic game-- the lag will surely be fixed since this is only a Beta.

That depends on what you didnt like about Oblivion. What do you mean that you didnt understand the story? Oblivions story was quite simple. Well no one knows the full story of Fallout 3, just that your father has left the vault for some strange reason, and because he was so great and important to you, you leave to find him. The gameplay is simple like in oblivion, if you choose it to be, there is VATS if you would like the actual RPG element, other then stats and stuff. From what you've said, i think you would like Fallout3, its ok you dont have to know what happened in the last 2 games, well not that i know off - story might be mentioned from the past games, but it might be like in Fallout 2, well atleast for me it didnt seem as though the second one had some major major connection other then the how and why you are there. (ok major enough) but in Fallout 3 it seems that you start fresh, so i can imagine small gimicks from the first 2 but nothing major. Maybe you should ask yourself this question when more about the game has been found out, maybe a review. But with all that said, you should give Oblivion a try, it was the first i played in the series and it made sense to me, sometimes you have to just give in to the fact that theres Argonians and races like that, even though you dont know why lol - think of fantasy movies. mgs_freak91

I think people got the wrong idea-- I only played Oblivion for like 4 hours so I never really got that far into it, but thinking back now Im wondering if I need to understand Oblivion 1-3 before I play Oblivion IV.

I just think that I didnt pay enough attention and got lost easily, but I'm wondering if it was a mistake on my part or if I just was confused because I didnt play previous Oblivion games.

Here me out: I really want a good RPG on my PS3 and Fallout 3 looks great.

The problem is that it's very similar to Oblivion... when I say that I didn't like Oblivion there a couple things to keep in mind:

-I was very confused with the story because it was my frist Oblivion

-I didnt really understand most of the features in the game.

I think that if I give Oblivion a fair try (I borrowed it from a friend so I dont have it anymore) I will enjoy it-- but I am more looking forward to F3 since I like the setting/story.

I am expecting some key differences but does F3 have a new story? Do I need to know what happened in F2 and F1 to understand F3?

Not understanding the story was one of the biggest problems I had with Oblivion because I just got so confused with it trying to understand what happened/where to go buy I know that if I spent more time with the game/took time to wiki the story I would certainly enjoy it (the graphics, control and gameplay were all great).

So what do you think? Again, I ask if F3 is a continuation or is it going to be easier to understand for a new player to the series?

The jumping is fine the way it is. I'm in the beta and the real issue is the major lag experienced sometimes (though it's only because it's a beta, it will be fine when the game hits stores Im sure).

Also, the 2.5d is a bit annoying depending on what your doing and how the creator has made the level.

Sometimes it's hard to move planes but it's really not a big deal most of the time.

I still think that's it a AAA title.

I don't think the jumping is that bad at all, someone said it was delayed but the timing is spot on-- Sackboy jumps when you expect him to and is very easy to control.

I havent done much after the King's Tie minigame and I dont think you can-- It's a beta so it's most likely locked so you have to buy the full game.

That is amazing, but how hard is it to actually create any level that you can think of ?

It looks hard but surely it will be easier than it looks ?

turbo1001

It depends on what you are making. Some things are pretty simple to make (swing off a rope, jump over fiery logs, etc), but some people like the guy in this video really PUSH the envelope and then make your creation feel like garbage.

Every once in a while you run into something and just go in shock at what you see. You want to make it too, so you copy their level and break it apart to see how it works and you simply just stare in amazement at how difficult some people create their levels.

It's truly a stroke of genius this game. It's a must buy.

LBP because I played shooters and I've played sports games before.

the link above alone shows you how much potential is in that game and the platformers that I play everyday in LBP are beyond words to describe.

After LBP it's Fallout 3 because I really want an RPG (they are sorely lacking on the PS3).

but LBP is 31, in fact i've already preordered and am in the Beta :D

I have no beta. I looked for a video of The World of Colour and found nothing. Could somebody summarize it for the unlucky majority.dercoo

You really just have to play it to understand. Every three seconds you are amazed at one someone has done with a little string and wood and lights, colour, paint.

So far I've played about 8 levels I strongly liked. Everyone is still just learning how to create, there are lots of garbage levels but give the users time and each day you see something new.

It's the Youtube of Gaming.
