Everybody doesn't find pleasure in numbers:|.

Plus if you have been walking on this and Earth and scouring the internet for the past couple of weeks you would have heard about the games being announced for Wii. 2009 is shaping up to be a great year and th end of 08 is seeming pretty good too. I would name games, but it most likely won't matter to someone like you.

Oh, so it hasn't "starting shining" yet. We have to "just wait"? Interesting to see the Sheep bash the cows and then go off and say the same things. Aw, the irony. Then again, this is SystemWars where hypocrisy reigns supreme. Don't worry lad, waiting payed off for the PS3 fans... actually, no it didn't. Don't get your hopes up. ;)

No, the Wii was shining the day it was released and took the market by storm. I was just hoping that the light would have reached you fanboys by now;).

Yeah it was shining with sales because of mere curiosity from Nintendo fans and gamers alike because of the motion controls, not to mention the cheap parents who were happy they could get their kids a cheap next gen system, but as far as games, yeah it had Zelda which basically looked as if they put the motion controls on to the gamecube version and released it in a Wii case, so please the Wii is far from shining infact it fit's an old saying i used to hear "You can't polish a turd" which does apply to the Wii in this case.

[QUOTE="loco145"]That's more than the games i would buy for any console in a year.Stevo_the_gamer
And what if you're someone who likes choice -- variety? Wouldn't you rather have over 100 choices to choose from? How about 60? When your choices of "good" games are few and far between, you have yourself quite a large predicament, lad.

Exactly my point...infact if it weren't for Nintendo's 1st party games the Wii would have not had titles reviewed higher than an 8.5 in the first year, so basically their is nothing to choose from even to this day.

Here's a thought Wii owners, since the Wii seems to be moving in the direction of cell shaded cartoon looking games, then why not go resurrect Don Bluth, creator of "Dragons Lair and Space Ace" and see if he can get any descent games for the console, because thats the only way i see the Wii turning out anything that looks good graphically.

I mean c'mon, here it is almost 2 years later and even after all those hardware sales, their game library is garbage, and almost no developers even want to be bothered with it's prehistoric hardware, which is why the Wii will never see such games like Fallout 3, Dead Space, RE-5.

Seriously i hope no one is foolish enough to hang on to or purchase that so called current gen gaming system, it's really not fit to shine the shoes of the PS3 or 360.

Oh that was a good read.

Thanks for the laughs sir, it's always nice to see humor on the forums.

Yeah well sorry dude i didn't feel the need to drone on about the obvious, the Wii was way over hyped for far too long and now what everyone knew would happen is happening, it's getting lousy support because of it's obsolete hardware, hence all the lousy games and it's following in the gamecubes footsteps, people who bought it have realized it's short comings and their trading up for something better.

I mean , yeah anyone could go on for pages about all the Wii's short comings but i'm not a hater, i actually wish Nintendo put out a more beast of a system, because i like alot of 1st party Nintendo titles, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and i love some healthy competition and some powerful hardware with good online play and gorgeous HD graphics, but Nintendo doesn't offer that, so why spend money and take a step back technologically, it's not worth it.

What ever, you guy's believe what you want, all i know is that when the 60-gig PS3's were the only ones on the market Sony only had a 3% hardware failure rate to Microsofts 17% at the time.

Today Sony has a 12% failure rate to Microsofts 9%, so you guy's believe what ever you want, and when your new PS3 breaks down you'll go and switch to 360's and then come in here and most likely change your User names to avoid the embarrassment.

Well for years now Sony fanboys have praised there PS3's hardware and ragged on the 360's red ring of death and other hardware issues, and while true for the most part they are building them a little better these days.

However now just when Sony is getting together a descent library of games, they have chosen to mass produce the worst of the PS3 models, being the 40-gig model PS3 only, and sticking 80-gig and 160-gig hard drives in it, even while there turning out bad batches of both 40 and 80 gig models by the thousands with freezes, power trouble, and disc reading problems.

So once again Sony is in danger of losing more disgruntled PS3 owners to the 360, why were they so intimidated by public opinion when the 60-gig first released with it's so called "high price", i mean that machine had everything, DVD & Blu-Ray player, 100% PS2 backwards compatibility, 4 USB slots, Flash drive slots, SD card slots, and free online play out of the box, all that for a mere $600 bucks i don't know what those Sony boys were whining about thats a damn good deal.

Now look, every time i go to my local game store they have new batches of 5 to 8 PS3's behind the counter going back to Sony for repair or replacement, and even though i prefer my 360 Elite i kind of feel bad for you Sony boy's because your game library was really growing and now, because Sony caved in to pressure and complaints about the 60-gigs price, their best model is no longer made.

That really is a shame.

My question is, why release this 160g bundle for 499, when your PR guys are out there saying how easy it is to upgrade with any SATA drive?? i mean it seems to me the best thing to do would be to just sell the 40g models at 349.99 and then market the "replaceability" of the hard drives. I mean, sony fanboys are always bragging how they can just buy 250g hard drives for about $100, and bashing MS fanboys for hard drive prices and the Arcade model, when it seems like sony isnt sure what it wants to sell to its consumers. I mean, if you want to move PS3's, why remove backward compatibility, and continue to sell and support the PS2?? They will never upgrade that way. They shouldve kept backward B/C, and start to move away from the PS2 and market the "upgrade now" campaign. just my thoughts i guess:?navyguy21

I agree whole heartedly, discontinue the PS2, only manufacture the 40gig model and market the hell out of upgradeable hard drives, while keeping backwards compatibility.

Now that strategy would definitely boost PS3 sales and make good marketing sense, but i'm sure they've already bundled a couple of hundred thousand 160gig models, so its most likely to late...too bad.

You wanna know desperate? Microsoft cutting the price of the 360 SKU twice in less then 3 months because they were getting owned in sales. Not to mention they make you pay for everything, an over priced hdd, and the arcade doesn't even have an hdd.

Are you serious ? It's Sony that makes you pay for everything, when the PS3 first came out at $600.00 it did not include any HD cables, they didn't even start offering the HDMI cable until recently, oh and by the way if you think 360 is getting owned in sales just go to

www.vgchartz.com and you'll see how much more 360 is dominating in sales.

I'm fine with my 60 gig, thanks.Ze_ALEX

Yeah but if anything happens to that 60gig, you have a shiny black paper weight worth nothing and you'll have to pay out of pocket for a new system and the 40gig and 80gig systems are having serious power up problems and disc read errors.

A new 360 comes with a 3 year warranty so if anything does go wrong like the red ring for instance it gets replaced with a new one from microsoft, and now Sony is just going to stick a 160gig HD in a 40gig model and bump the price up a $100 bucks more, wow thats sad.

I feel bad for anyone foolish enough to purchase one of those overpriced 40gig headaches.
