@Hillsy_ Other than Kinect(Which I beleive if coming to PC?) the PC isn't entirely different. You can plug a 360 controller into a PC. You can plug your PC into a Tv through HDMI and use Steam Big Picture. You can use Windows Media Centre. Voice recognition. All sorts of peripherals such as TrackIR. So I don't think the PC lacks anything specifically

@LtReviews that depends on the PC you buy though, it's not as clear cut as that. Other people like myself build a gaming pc, but use it for work and play. You could buy a gaming laptop and use it for both. Or buy a gaming laptop and a lower end Chromebook etc for work. Each to their own depending on circumstances

@shadow131990 Well Microsoft don't even have a proper browser on the Xbox, so good luck commenting on Gamespot lol. Agreed completely though, a good gaming PC would cost between what, £600-£900 depending on if you are building it yourself or not and if it comes with a monitor. Then you can upgrade it whenver, do more with it. Change it, customise it etc. Always be at the forefront of technology. etc etc

Every generation we hear this. Yet it never proves true. PCs are where the games are developed, so i'm pretty sure they have to be able to test the games on the highest. Furthermore even if a £2,000 PC was now suddenly weaker than a £300~ console, the PC has an advantage of always being at the forefront of technology and being able to get upgraded. Plus a PC can do a whole lot more than a console. On the other hand, yes if you don't want a PC and only want something for games/media on a tight budget and don't mind less graphics and being stuck with that machine for 8 years, then the console is the better choice. No, I am not a PC fanboy, I love my PS3/360 and will be getting a PS4. But there is no denying PC has often been told it will fall from the top and it has yet to happen

@LtReviews Although your Xbox wouldn't have the versatility/upgradability of a PC. Swings and roundabouts tbf

@jameson425 you can build a half decent gaming pc for around £600-£700. Depends if you need a monitor etc or not
