You hit the nail on the head. :) Thanks for the help. @AequusLibra, thanks to you aswell for the help.Unless I'm very much mistaken, the OP's system uses a Geforce 6150/nforce 430 chipset.
You could try downloading the driver directly from Nvidia's website as mentioned by the previous poster.

And...I'm back. Turns out dxdiag does not provide that pc with good info. All it tells me about the GPU is that it is a "Generic Device" and that I should "Install the manufacturers drivers" which I tried and got the error I provide at the first post...Aight...good luck.

It is integrated.
LOL, I already opened it before your post...
Well, It's not my computer so I'm not sure. I'll open it up and get back to you in a minute. Are the graphics on your computer "intergrated" or "discrete"? In other words, are they built in to the motherboard (i.e. northbridge) or are the actually a seperate component, that you can remove?

Hi, I am trying to install gpu drivers for a eMachine EL1300G-02w, I got the drivers here:
http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/search.asp?st=pn¶m=EL1300G&site=emachines
Everything from the Motherboard drivers(the Nvidia Chipset) installed besides the GPU driver. I get the following error:
setup cannot copy the file nv4_mini.sy_
And then it points me towards the location of the file. I checked and the file does exist, but for some reason it is not working. Any advice?
