[QUOTE="i5750at4Ghz"] I think you missed the point....coreybg

Yeah, and how many people actually use a flatscreen as a setup for thier PC? Theres a reason why they don't

Don't make such bald statements unless you can back them up, which I'm pretty sure you can't.

A lot of PC gamers use a flatscreen setup, TVs aren't reserved for consoles.

A TV is like a monitor, if someone has a flatscreen TV in their room, I don't see why they wouldn't use it.

Why I could say the same to you

"A lot of PC gamers use a flatscreen setup."

Can you back that up?

Yeah, because a monitor looks better yet costs less. Why I use a monitor for my console and PC gaming needs. But to answer your question, I setup a htpc for my mom on our 56 inch widescreen and its all she uses. Got rid of cable and everything.

Triple 46 inch monitors. On a couch.

Okay, that was worse than PS2 graphics.

1. Mouse controlls for shooters arent always better, it makes every game feel the same, lacking a unique feel (assuming the game has one)

Can you give an example of a controller being better in a multiplat game?

2. Consoles have SplitScreen.

Some PC games do aswell, and when you play LAN, you don't have to share the screen.

3. Consoles share simmiliar features (emulaters, web browsers, media players, NetFlix, ect)for less than half the cost.

I'm fairly certain people don't buy a console to browse the net.

4. Larger screen to play on (40+ inch flatscreen)

And that TV come with the console right? It can also be done on PC without streching the image and making it look worse.

5. You can't play PC while on a comfty couch

Yes you can:

Plug the PC in your TV.

Plug in a controller

Play

Aside from that I agree.

PC on flatscreen is downgraded quality, ive already tried it. Some PC games have splitscreen, but hardly any. Reguardless wheather people bought it for the web browser, it still has it and people still use it.

If your the type of person who is not really into fighting/racing/sports games then the console really isn't for you. PC gaming is superior in all aspects, has better graphics, cheaper games, DLC is free a lot, possible mod support for games, and an increasing trend is the ability to play with a 360 controller on pc games, some games might make use of a controller better like dead space 2. Mouse controls for RTS and FPS games are superior to the console.

For me the only point of owning a console is to play console exclusive games, I will be buying a ps3 eventually in addition to my 360 but I will only be buying exclusive titles, even then not all exclusive titles are good. Both the 360 and PS3 have had a load of Exclusive failures. As I can see it now the only game I will be buying in the future on 360 is Gears 3. As for the PS3 interesting titles look like Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid, Heavy Rain, possibly Uncharted and Resistence. But really I don't think I will spend much time in multiplayer in any of those titles....hope the single players would be worth it.

I can honestly say I don't know if I would spend much time on 360 or PS3 once I get a gaming PC, almost makes me question if it is worth getting a PS3 just for a couple games.

Don't forget about the CPU though, my PC (stocked)cost 750$ and only has 1.80GHz, forces me to play games on terrible quality and it still lags.

How much do theese bundles cost, how many games do you get, and if you don't mind list theese "high quality" games.
