The game has Zapper support. That doesn't mean you have to use the Zapper. Why would they make you buy a peripheral just to play the game?

Yes its a WWII game, but the setting is vastly different than the others. Treyarch had under a year to develop COD 3. Infinity Ward had 2 years to develop COD4. Treyarch has been working on CoD: World At War for 2 years.

Not to be an *** or anything, but Activision did release a Call of Duty on the Wii already and it was a pretty good game controls wise. Don't you think they've done their homework as well. I'm pretty sure any/all fps games coming out will feature controls similar to or better than the controls in mp3/moh.

As for multiplayer. Guitar Hero (from activision) had a pretty good online setup. I'm also pretty sure that Activision has worked with Nintendo as far as online goes. I see no reason why voice chat couldn't make it into CoD, if the technology was in available in time. Seeing as the game will be coming out this year, that is unlikely.

Activision has supported the Wii from the beginning, and I think they will continue to release quality games for the DS/Wii.

Which is it gonna be? The Conduit, or Call of Duty: World At War?

CoD:WW is running on the CoD 4 engine, will feature online multiplayer (confirmed), a unique co-op mode, will supposedly look better than any Wii game on the market, and has been in development for about 2 years by a special team at Treyarch focused specifically on Wii. Quoted.. "These guys live, eat and breathe Wii. This is going to be easily the best shooter on Wii." The game will be released later this year.

The Conduit is running on High Voltage's proprietary game engine built for the Wii. Will feature online multiplayer for up to 16 players. The game has been in development for a little bit less than a year. The Conduit is a futuristic fast-paced FPS built from the ground up for Wii. The conduit should be in stores around April 09.

I'm honestly excited about both games. However, since CoD:WW will be coming out this year, and the devs are making it sound so good, I'm slightly more hyped for CoD, and looking forward to it a bit more than the Conduit.

Whats your opinion?

Brawl easily.... Metroid shouldn't even be mentioned in this thread. That boxart looks horrible. When it was first shown, almost everyone thought it sucked. Its so simplistic and bland. Why would anyone pick that as the best boxart?

If your disappointed with Brawl then thats nobody elses fault but your own. If you had unrealistic expectations, I can see you being disappointed. I had previously never bought a Smash Bros. game, and I'm not usually a fan of fighters, and had only picked up melee like 2 or 3 times, completely unaware of wtf I was doing. I'm lovin Brawl though. As for online, its worked pretty decently for me. Could it have been better? Probably so. That doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy it in its current form. I've put in probably over 50 hours just brawlin with strangers, and I can't say that I haven't had fun playing online in Brawl.

It could be that not as many people are playing at the time, and there are others ahead of you waiting for an open spot in a group, causing it to take longer to find a match. It could also be that your connection is firewalled and you can't accept incoming connections..

In that case you may want to check out the link below, to see what the problem may be. This may be very helpful to you.

I love the game. I've played it online with random people more than anything else (just about 50 hours), and have not had half as bad an experience as people are claiming to have had. Input lag is present in pretty much every online game that exists. How much there is, and if its really noticeable is a different story.

The majority of the random brawls I've played haven't had much lag, or not enough to effect the game, or whine about. So I have had pretty smooth games for the most part. Thats not to say that freezing and laggy games don't occur on occasion. Its something you just don't have control over (accept for your connection), since you don't know where the people are that your playing, nor how good their connection is. If I do enter a game where the input lag is a real big problem, I can quickly exit the game and most of the time find another within a minute or so.

If your connection is firewalled and you can't find random games, thats your problem. If you have 50 other people using the internet in your house on the same network while your online attempting to play brawl, don't blame the game. Or if your wii only gets a 75% wifi signal from the router.

Are you playing Super Smash Broz. Brawl, or Super Smash Bros. Brawl?? Brawl does have motion controls when using the wii-mote + nunchuck setup, and they work perfectly. Do you people read manuals? The motion controls are turned off by default.

Shake the wii remote left right up or down to perform the desired smash attack. You can also use the motion controls to throw items, attack while dashing, flying attack, and airbourne attacks.

The SSE is pretty cool and well done if you ask me, and I'm only at about 40%. Just playing this game vs. cpus can be fun, so the addition of all this extra stuff is awesome if you ask me.

If your not still playing Brawl, its no ones fault but your own.
