[QUOTE="stereointegrity"][QUOTE="C-Lee"]It possibly has one of the best co-op experience of all time. Also, Valve made it, and Valve never dissapoints.Jodan77

oh got stop with this best coop of all time stuff already

Can't handle the truth, eh?

seriously.....are u being even serious?

Well it's not surprising coming from me, but he is right.

No Other Game goes out of it's way to punish players who don't work together like this one.

Have you played Resistance 2?

i cant belive how many people are saying the ending is horrible..i thought it was really cool while leaving you with something to think about for gears of war 3.

did anybody actually wait to see what happens after the credits?

marcus's dad created the locusts thats my gues. THATS RIGHT , I SAID IT

jeezers

**SPOILER**

No, my guess is that the Locust tricked the COGS into sinking Jacinto for them. They had Marcus' fathers voice speaking about how sinking Jacinto would be the only way to stop them, but after the credits Marcus' dad says, "Oh my, what have you done?"...

So my take was that the Locust had either recorded or regenerated Adam Fenix's voice to say that if Jacinto were sunken it would end the Locust. But that was just a ploy by the Queen because they wanted to sink Jacinto anyway.

[QUOTE="sirk1264"]Has anyone else felt like the enemy AI only attacks you in the SP campaign. There are times where my squad mates would be right next to a Chimeran enemy and the enemy would be focused solely on me. Its so annoying.sirk1264

yes it happens but that is what makes it challenging IMO. But i have noticed it doesnt happen as much as it did in #1.

I've actually noticed it more than the first game. I still like the game but to me making the AI just ignore your squadmates is just cheap programming and a cheap way of making a game difficult. Much like NG2 throwing waves of enemies at you making it cheap hard and not just hard like the first NG game for Xbox.

You're right. Before I played R2 I went and played through R:FoM on SuperHuman. The AI actually attacked your teammates way more on the first one. They even had sequences where you could save your teammates from being killed. If you did then they would help you out more in the long run.

R2's AI seems to ignore your fellow Spec Opts team and go straight for you. You can see it clear on the part with the Grimm outside of Warner's house when you get to Idaho. Warner will sit right in the middle of the yard on a knee. The enemies will run from in front of him... pass him and just go for you. It's annoying to see that considering how the first one played.

It's no where near as hard and cheap as NG2 though.

^^^

Wow. Single player was intense from start to finish. Only thing that hurt the story was the lack of the narrator. Gameplay and pace is great. Multi has tons of replay value. Good atmosphere throughout the game also.

R2 has one of the most memorable endings I've ever played. I don't think I'll ever forget it.

The further I get, the further I realize how unimpressive some of the graphics are. :( They're not bad, but they're really not on par with a lot of other games.BioShockOwnz

Yeah, the graphics are hit and miss. Some are stunning and some are just real average.

This game looks better on my tube HDTV and worse on my 56in projector HDTV. It's weird.

Graphics are better and more polished than what we saw in the beta.

I just played through San Fran, I'm guessing it was the first stage. It was pretty cool. I see this game will be much more intense already. I can see why IGN docked points for not having a narrator. You really have to pay attention to the dialogue to follow the story this time around.

So far so good. Haven't hoped online yet, but I played the hell out of the beta so I know it's already top notch.
