Gears 2 actually adds on to its gameplay, Adds tons of new modes and features, has a deeper story more people in its multiplayer

what else do you expect a sequal to be? resistance 2 does nothing to its gameplay and pretty much only adds 20 more people to its mp and ad a co op mode

Not at all. I own both consoles. I'm buying Gears 2.

I just don't see why people are getting this excited about Gears 2 if they played the hell out of Gears 1. I probably played Gears 1 more than any other game this gen and I know Gears 2 won't have that wow factor on me because of it.

And the beta had 3 maps, but it was really like 4. There was Orick, Chicago's 40 player map, Chicago's 20 player map in the subway's, and San Fran.

All of them were great maps.

Well I also had the beta. And I'd give it 9 off of that alone. Only blemish were the graphics. But they were good considering the scale of the game and the action on the screen at the same time.

The game modes were fun. Especially Skirmish. Co-op is a blast, but I need to have more than one map to play that on. I got tired of playing it over and over because it was the same map. But the full game will have plenty of co-op maps to play through.

I've played COD4 faithfully when it came out, I played Halo3 faithfully when it came out. After playing R2's beta I can say that I think I'll be playing that game more than COD4 and HAlo3. It's like Halo3 with COD4 pace. THe game is going to be amazing. 7.5? You have got to kidding.
