NG is one of the most overrated games in existence. How a game with a horrible story, no check points, weak presentation, god awful camera, no mid battle weapon or ninpo switching, and unbelievable cheapness at the end of it is viewed so highly is just beyond me. God of War is a blast to play from beginning to end while NG is on the cheap side of things and is rather more annoying than fun.

I find it funny when NG fans say that it's "teh challenge" but do you realize why it's challenging? The game isn't hard because the actual game objectives, it's hard because it's a CHEAP game. I mean ask yourself how hard NG would be if it had checkpoints. The devs just want to make the game annoying and fools will call it hard. ANY game would be hard if it didn't have checkpoints. People praise NG's gameplay like it's kind. GTFOH. The gameplay is amazing... til you realize that you have to STOP playing to do EVERYTHING. You can't just go to a new place in NG without sayin' this to yourself..."Let me find a save point before I enter this room because if I die I'll have to do the whole F@#@$N' mission again" or how about when you are in the middle of a battle and you have to stop fighting to switch weapons or ninpo? How is that flawless gameplay? It's not people. Get your heads out of your asses and think about this. Since when did hard = better? Imagine God of War on Titan or God mode with no checkpoints. NG isn't harder it's just cheaper.

Yeah, I played God of War, one of my favourite action games ever, but this is just as good, and it presents a harder challenge IMO.

I like God of War's presentation better though.

Ninja Gaiden's environments felt way too static.

Naw, I beat Sigma. So you can throw that arguement about me not being able to beat it out the window. Ninja Gaiden isn't challenging because of the enemies so to speak, it's hard because it's a cheap game. Now I know people love their Ninja Gaiden series like no other but after playin' through Sigma, God of War 1 and 2, and DMC 1 and 3, I think that Ninja Gaiden is overrated entirely.

The story is boring and dull, the presentation is meh, the camera is borderline terrible, and the fact that the game doesn't have any checkpoints is just stupid. They should call it... Ninja Gaiden: Save Your Game 382934782974389743 Times. Because that's what you'll be doing. I find myself stopping the game so much to either save a game, or change weapons, or change nimpo it's ridiculous. Ninja Gaiden is cheap and after beating it I wasn't excited for NG2, I was like F@#K this game. A game should be fun to play, not annoying. God of War is a far better overrall game. And there is no doubt in my mind that GOD3 will own NG2 and outsell it at that.
