[QUOTE="GoldenGlove"]I wish MGS4 used Sixaxis for CQC. Sneak up on somebody, thrust the controller toward the screen to grap him, and then twist it to the right or left to choke them... or after you grab them flick your wrists back toward you to kick their legs from underneath them. GundamGuy0

Can the kind of tilt they have in the PS3 be good enough so that you don't get fustrated when you kill them by mistake, or mess up and aleart them?

They could just make the Sixaxis used for grabbing, and you'd have to press a button the finish them off.

[QUOTE="TimeToPartyHard"]Who knows? It's the same problem with the Wii's graphics. If a developer doesn't put the time to make something well, then you'll never have something great. It's only a matter of time before the PS3 really gets something where the motion sensing is well used, especially since developers have the Wiimote to work with too. After they make something great for the Wii, their experience with motion sensing should carry over to the PS3. Granted the Wiimote is much more advanced, they should have developed a little more creative skills utilizing motion sensing. At least I'd hope so.Ontain

i think the design of the wiimote would make translating it's motions to the sixaxis quite awkward. tennis, boxing, or bowling games wouldn't feel right moving a standard controler. you're basically stuck with flight, driving, and other tilt type motions. I suppose that it could be also used for grabbing but it'll only feel right for actions that require two arms moving at the same time. making it a much more limited device.

No this is completely wrong. Bowling would work great with the Sixaxis, and as a matter fact they are releasing a bowling game like the one found in WiiSports. Also you have a limited imagination to what the Sixaxis can do if that's all you can come up with is flight, and driving.

Post recent flops in this thread. See how long it goes. Today we have, Stranglehold and MOH.

Last week we had massive ones in Lair and Blue Dragon... ouch

Next week could we have Sony deliver on another contender for flop of the year in Heavenly Sword? We'll have to wait and see.

I have both of them! Sadly I might add! Tekken is much much better than Virtua Fithter 5......VF5 is just too damn hard. It's too fustrating to lear anything in it. If you like a hard game...that takes forever to learn and master and you really really have time on your hands and you like a fighting game with a few caracters and no storiline than VF5 is your game. If you need something that's more fun and actually enjoyable then get Tekken 5 DR untill Tekken 6 hits!HunAndras1984

That's the great thing about VF though. You really have to know your move set with WHATEVER character you have. Tekken can be deep for gameplay but it doesn't touch VF's deepness. I've played so many matches in VF4 and VF5 and Tekken 5. When you get good with a character in VF you feel unstoppable. It's just a great feeling. Tekken can just be broken sometimes and it fustrates me... But I'd still get Tekken5 DR cause it's online and you'll play awesome players on there.

Virtua Fighter 5 is a better fighter to me, but DON'T buy it over Tekken 5 DR. First of all, Tekken 5 is ONLINE! And Tekken 5 is only 30 bucks, the actual game is only 20. Trust me, unless you have a ton of friends to play VF5 with you'll get tired of it. Online play brings so much more to the experience.

Wow, all these noob replies. Nobody has an imagination here. Whatever is the norm to be said is said. The Sixaxis controller hasn't been fully utilized yet. It's no Wiimote but it wasn't meant to be. All you morons saying, "bu bu but the Wiimote is teh better" just STFU, because I didn't ask that question to begin with and has NOTHING to do with the topic.

Motion sensing on a traditional controller doesnt make much sense to me.web966

So you never thought about the potential for the motion sensing in a game like God of War3? When they prompt you to press certain buttons and rotate the analog sticks in certain directions... now they can add motion sensing to that. I can imagine it working like a charm when they get their hands on it. Actually feeling like your rippin' an oppenents heads' off with Kratos FTW!

I think that this function has been horrible so far for PS3 games. I tried it on Warhawk and I was flyin' into rocks and buildings, the use of it on NG:Sigma was just corny. R:FoM used it pretty cool, but it wasn't anything that really ADDED to gameplay in a big way. Folklore seems to be heading in the right direction with it from the demo and the game looks to be shaping well.

Other than that game, which one do you think will really hit the mark with the Sixaxis controller and fully utilize it? MGS4? God of War 3? Anybody remember how the dual analogs weren't used properly until Ape Escape came out? What game will do that for the PS3? Or will it just go down as a cheap addition and potential wasted?

I'm pretty nervous about Home, dealing with Sony online has always been pretty frustrating and those guys are like nazis when it come to policing the community, Anyone remember the Star Wars galaxies mods killing everyone in sight when people were protesting the changes that they made to the game?

Sony hasalways seemed to want structure and the instilling of discapline over ensuring the customers are happy, and what are you going to do if its sucks? Ask for your money back?

Riverwolf007

When did HOME get a price tag? Sony said it would be free...
