I see the potential of segregation with HOME. Simple rules of sociology...

I heard that you can't even launch games from within Home yet. To me that's the most important thing, and that's what makes XBL so easy to use. I think that the features that they talk about with Home are dope, but people need to realize that the MOST IMPORTANT thing is to be able to access the XMB within it. What good is home if it doesn't allow you to check and reply to messages while playin' a PS3 game? What good is it if you STILL can't play music in game? These are features that I desperately wish PS3 had. That's the only thing that holds it back.

Virtua Fighter 4 and Tekken 5 are my favorite 3D fighters, with Tekken Tag as honorable mention.

2D my fav is Street Fighter Alpha 3.

[QUOTE="GoldenGlove"]But garbage such as DOA shouldn't even count in this discussion because the game blows in comparison. VF5 online will be another great moment, although I'm pissed that I have it on PS3 and I'll have to get it on 360 now and play it on that wack d-pad.Medjai
dude the left analog stick works great on 360 I never use the D-Pad (I am just as or more accurate with it than the dual shock D-Pad)...I wish I had Tekken its by far my favorite fighting series cool that its finally online

Since when did Tekken use the analog sticks on consoles?

DOA4: 8.8

Tekken5: 8.3

I'd say that DOA4 holds its own.:)

Go check the original game score. Tekken 5 = 9.2, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection = 9.2. And they didn't review PS3 with the online mode in mind so your point is flawed.

Beats DOA any day.

I still like how even though some characters are button mashable, they only attack the same region over and over, if you cant block an attack ive been doingover and overfor 20 seconds flat by now you shouldnt be playing sort of speak..

Paul phoenix is my fav character even if he has the worst hair style sinse pulp fiction came out.

I know what you mean, but sometimes retarded stuff happens that shouldn't. For example, I was playing against somebody that had Law. The game was tied at 2 rounds a piece and we were both on our last straw. The next hit wins the game. He simple continuously pressed square and triangle with Law. I see this and I BLOCK ever attack. Then after another series of weak punches I make my move and he STILL hits me before I land my hit, when he was just button mashing and AFTER I successfully blocked his move like 5 times in a row. That was BS.

Welcome to the world of online beat 'em ups, PS3 fans. Took you long enough. ;)

Newnab

I've had an Xbox, and I have a 360 and I'd never touch a DOA game. To say that this isn't a big deal for fighting games as whole then you are a noob.

The game is mad addicting, and the gameplay is top notch so many great players its not even funny. One of the best fighting games going online is just amazing to me, long over do but still it's a blast. And it looks great considering it's a PS2 game.

You wouldn't understand. If you played MGO on PS2 you would love the footage. It's keeping to it's roots, this is no noob game online. And when you hear that "PING" you know you hit a headshot. I know for a fact that I will be playing the sh!t out of this game, and all the people that played MGS3 online will be salivating waiting for this to be released.

Sneaking up slittin' a guys throat >>> chainsawing somebody with the Lancer on Gears.
