I'm not so good with my music subgenres...ok? >__>
Straight from wikipedia "Death Metal's lyrical themes typically invoke violence, but also contain various themes of Satanism..." Maybe not Satan himself; but violence no the less (kinda like rap). Now I'm not generlizing, it's not all Death Metal, just some.
That's my 2 cents.
:|What's the point of even replying with that if you yourself say that maybe it has nothing to do with Satan which it really doesn't.
Ok ready for this corny-yet-makes-sense comeback? Okay you asked for it.
Satan can be the essence of evil and wrongdoing. Violence, rape and sins. Well, if music promotes it; it's promoting Satan! :o
That's my 4 cents.
For the record: I'm not a religious man.
Makes sense. But that's an unintentional tie to Satan nonetheless.
I think that documentary is pretty bad. I mean, some of the things are of course right, everyone knows that. But that documentary seems to try to prove that pre-rock(pre-1950s) society was all christian and moral...heh no...guynamedbilly
No, I think they're trying to say that in the past few decades some music is trying to promote violence and such. And looking around I believe some of it is true.
