Isn't this kind of common sense? Everyone owns a PC nowadays.

Most likely not capable of playing games. However, the gaming PC market in terms of computer sales is larger than the consoles.

It's an assumption, and one based off nothing. Mass Effect 1 & 2, whilst not having the highest system requirements, still require at least a bit of juice.

Every PC is capable of playing games. Even my cheesy netbook can play old NES and SNES ROMS as well as 1990s games like Kings Quest, Space Quest, Monkey Island, etc...

Mass Effect isnt on PS3 because MS published it.

Mass Effect 2 isnt aswell because it wouldnt make sense to get the second and not the first.

Mass Effect 3 wont be on PS3 for the same reasons as the second one.

At the end PS3 only owners are missing the best series of this gen :P

ohthemanatee

It is true that both Mass Effect 1 & 2 are available on the Xbox but it is also available on PC which I imagine Mass Effect 3 will also be available aftter some time. Those who own a PS3 most likely own a PC which allows them to play the game in the end so it doesn't really matter. MOST PS3 exclusives aren't available on the PC unfortunately so it's difficult to determine such things.

Wait...... are you serious? Every PS3 exclusive has blown Xbox 360's games/exclusives out of the water. ohthemanatee

Am I in the twilight zone?

Well, lets test this theory out by genre...

FPS: Halo 3 vs Killzone 2:

  • According to Metacritic, Halo 3 is better

Action/TPS: Gears of War 2 vs Uncharted 2

  • According to Metacritic, Uncharted 2 is better

Platform: N/A vs Little Big Planet

  • Little Big Planet wins by default

Sports: N/A vs MLB10: The Show

  • MLB10 The Show wins by default

Racing: Forza3 vs Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

  • According to Metacritic, Forza is better

Music: Lips vs Singstar

  • According to Metacritic, Singstar is better

Adventure: N/A vs Heavy Rain

  • Heavy Rain wins by default

RPG: Lost Odyssey vs Demon Souls

  • According to Metacritic, Demon Souls wins

Stragtegy:Halo Wars vs Valkryia Chronicles

  • According to Metacritic, Valkyria chronicles wins

Overall, PS3 is better. Can't think of anymore genres.

Op, I read your detritus but I imagine why Mass Effect isn't on PS3 is because the Devs' for ME can't handle PS3's Architecture. Cry yourself a river but Microsoft's 1st party games don't hold a candle to PS3's Exclusives. It's been proven time & time again so unless you've got something better than Crysis (which is PC's achievement) you have nothing. Let it go & move on.

envybianchi

Crysis wasn't made by Microsoft Game Studios.

Why are you comparing a company's exclusives to a system's exclusives? If you are going to compare, compare Microsoft vs Sony exclusives or Xbox 360 vs PS3 exclusives.

the story is too deep for PS3 owners. :P Actually it could have to do with the simple fact that MS was the publisher of the very first ME game so releasing a trilogy without the very beginning would seem quite foolish. :|Nedemis

Nah, PS3 owners have the Xenosaga Trilogy, which is only about 10000x deeper than the Mass Effect Trilogy story.

It could happen, I mean, look at this:

mitu123

That is obviously fake

Which is why my post was a joke post, but lets keep our hopes up shall we?:P

It wouldn't make sense to release Mass Effect 3 without releasing Mass Effect 1-2 first. It would be like releasing Return of the King without releasing Fellowship of the Ring or The Two Towers

[QUOTE="Anjunaddict"] So the game does exist then? Make up your mind, and we both know im not talking about legal digital distribution. Anjunaddict

I said "will cost". That is future tense, which means the game does not yet exist.

But if its going to cost anything, then it must be in development, therefore it must exist.

Nope. Duke Nukem Forever was in development as well, yet the game does not exist.

[QUOTE="Anjunaddict"] Those points are completely irrelevant. My point was, the 360 version isn't the only version that will be pirated. And thats still true unless you can confirm the PSP version has definitely been cancelled. Anjunaddict

The PSP digital distribution version of UFC 2010 will cost $39.99 on PSN.

So the game does exist then? Make up your mind, and we both know im not talking about legal digital distribution.
