@LiquidGold A better idea would be to release a demo showing the play, style, and personality of the game. Then people can make an educated decision to buy/not buy the full, uncompromised work.

A lot of games are more than the sum of their parts. You can't just pull them apart at the seams like the F2P model does.

Have you ever played Blade of Darkness for PC? It came out way back in 2001, and it bears some resemblance to the Souls games.
