I'm not sure. Depends heavily on Gears of War. I'm rather confident that Resistance will be an improvement over the previous one, but I'm not sure Gears will manage to do so. I'm sure Gears will sell like hotcakes, though.

If you point a gun at my head, I'd say Gears will sell better (in the US, at least), Resistance will help it's console more.

Chances are I'll get both.

well they're both sequels to a game that was already on there so i don't see how they sell systems. . . i think that gears 2 will be better in every waycrunchUK
Ask Halo 2.

Did you know that it was proved by many ways that blowing in the game cartridge and the console never did anything?

Except empirically, of course.

Possible? Of course. It has been the norm rather than the exception to have some sort of improved port of MGS games into other systems, with MGS3 being the exception.

Probable? I don't know, I'm not sure. Those ports in question weren't particularly successful, and the game is now past it's initial hype push - MS has little reason to be proactive in getting it (aka using teh moniezz), and Kojima seems to be against the idea (though Konami has expressed interest).

Most likely? No, and if we get that port at all, it will be at least a year from now.

Late '09 FFXIII PS3 Japan.

Mid '10 FFXIII Xbox360/PS3 World Wide.

thrones

That seems to be about right. If I recall correctly, there was something about having the whole hullaballo of localization/translation (a staple of FF delays). That will delay the PS3 version, but won't delay development on the 360. The plan would be to finish the 360 port around the same time the localization is done and implement it in both consoles at the same time.

PSN does have demos. It annoys me that they're separate (or maybe I absolutely suck at using the PSN store). VC doesn't.

I dont' think there will be too much of an issue if a demo is mandatory. Make people be able to give a x-star rating to whatever game they download, and make people be able to sort on that criteria. Make it so you need to purchase the game to rate it, if you wish to drive crazies out. Make it self-policing, but give the people tools. It's not that hard.

[QUOTE="-Renegade"]Forza doesn't have as near as many cars as there are in GT.foxhound_fox

I really don't see the need for 35 different Skylines and Fiat 500R's/Suzuki Cappucinos. Forza 2 has more than enough cars and all of them are powerful enough to be enthralling to take around a RACE track. If Gran Turismo was about driving around on streets I could see the reason for having so many useless cars but GT has purely RACE tracks.

Heyheyhey. Respect the Fiat.

Oh, and it's 50 Skylines :P.

Is gears liked more because its easier to say?

To me, Gears is a cool style. Slow moving and bulky. But you really dont have to move that fast because you can hide. Which is fine by me (squatter). And buff! Blood and cutting in half. ..come to think of it, why are you called a newb if you chainsaw someone? Maybe im in the wrong crowd, but isnt harder to get close to someone than to shotty?

LOXO7

Nonononononono.

A newb is someone who uses a strategy you don't like and can't adapt to because you got very used to trying your way. A Newb grapples instead of doing Hadokens up the ***. A Newb uses the rocket launcher. Or the shotgun. Or the machinegun. Or the sniper rifle.

That he absolutely obliterated you is irrelevant. He's a newb because he doesn't know how to play the game it's supposed to be played, which is of course the way you do.
