Ya I haven't updated this in forever, it just became too hard to update 4 journals at once so I had to make a few cuts. You guys can track all my latest journal updates at

Dammit, I lost big time. A lot of my players didn't produce, so I didn't know what was going on. My opponent didn't fare as well, but just enough to beat me by a good gap. Just lousy performances by all, thing I'm gonna start Roethlesberger next week, he looked mighty impressive against the Pats.
Here's the breakdown.

Man, what a lameass weekend, some brief bright spots, but overall pretty miserable. Started out on Friday when Steve came over, said he had the new GTA San Andreas to show off. Sounded fine and dandy to me, he tells me I can just continue off my save and do whatever while he catches up on email and all that stuff on my PC. Now this may sound like nothing out of the blue at first, but the last couple times Steve was over, he spent over several hours on my pc burning cds while browsing my music libraries. Some friend, eh?
So I tell him fine surf the web, just no cd burning this time. So I check out San Andreas, and it plays mostly the same, just a lot more stuff to do, and I like the countryside, actually feels like driving on the Interstate oddly. Anywho, I get all caught up in it and do a couple missions and next thing I know I was playing it for an hour. So I go, 'hey Steve lez get some of our usual NBA 2K5 or Showdown on!' but Steve says he wanted to try out NHL 2K5, and I figured since I was playin for over an hour, I'd let him play a round or two, but he eventually played on and on, said he was going to stop, but kept on playing. I woulda just kicked him off but I got IM'd from Rocket and he wanted to play War3 online and by that point I didn't care anymore. After War3, I installed some old PC classics I havent played in forever such as Starcraft, and Monopoly and I played both for a while, and by the time I was done with both of those Steve was still playing NHL 2K5. He ended up playing 10 rounds of it in the span of two hours and then he wanted to get dropped off. Man, that dude is really ticking me off lately by pulling crap like that. Ya, so that was my Friday in a nutshell. Got back home and watched a couple more 24 episodes and played a lil more of my 24/7 NBA 2K5 season before hitting the hay.
Saturday was a bit better, got together with Joey, Chris, and Kyle and we played X-Men Legends co-op......for 7 hours straight. Yes, it's that addicting, I had to make two quick stops inbetween it to get Chris to do an errand and drop Joey off, but overall a really fun experience. That game is one of the best console Action-RPG's I've played thus far. Totally outclasses Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath. I got home after that gaming bliss and doodled around on some more of my 24/7 mode.
I then watched the Boys and Girl tape I got in the mail a week ago. It was about 3 or 4 years since I saw the movie in theatres, and I didn't know how well it'd hold up over time. I didn't really like it in the first place, and only reasons I purchased it was because we gave a co-worker named Steve crap about the character Steve in the movie, and the fact it was just 75 cents! To my surprise, I enjoyed the movie immensely. I usually hate Freddy Prinze Jr, especially in 'Shes all That' and 'ScoobyDoo' but this one was great. I dunno why, but this one actually told I good story I guess, and Jason Biggs provides the right amount of comic relief whenever things get a bit dry or too korny. But yeah, I usually hate all teen flicks, unless they're done right, and I'm talking about the rated PG/PG-13 ones that are aimed for the mainstream audience. And I can only think of three of them that I enjoyed: Can't Hardly Wait, Boys and Girls, Mean Girls. Yes, guilty pleasures and proud of it.
Unfortunately I couldn't get much sleep going into Halloween, so I kinda spent it in a dazed state on my couch watching NFL pregame shows and whatnot. Glad to see the Giants beat the Vikes, crummy to see the 49ers blow another one. Dorsey is failing on all levels as the back-up. I was off on a lot of my picks. I ended up getting only 2 hours of sleep before getting woken up by a phone call of my family inviting me over for pizza. So that was a minor bright spot of the day, but I was so out of it I didn't feel like searching for any bars are attempting to find any Halloween parties whatsoever. A very disappointing Halloween to say the least.
That wraps up this crummy weekend, if you managed to read this far then the more power to ya! Latez.
Under 20 minutes away from football and in the middle of pregame NFL shows on FOX and ESPN simultaneously. It all inspires me to do a quick NFL preview on a few of this week's match-ups.
<b>Giants vs Vikings</b> It's weird, I'm rooting for both teams this season. Giants cuz I'm a big Warner fan, but watch Warner will prolly get sacked to hell and back again this week. Giants O-Line is one of the worst in the league right up there with Atlanta and Buffalo. But Warner has still managed to put on an impressive performance this year thus far throwing just only two interception the entire season in 7 games. Tho I'm going to have to give the nod to the Vikings this week, they're at home, and even with as many damaged goods they got (Moss, Bennett, Williams), the Vikes came prepared. Mwelde Moore is one of the hottest rookies this season, and Robinson and Burleson are doing an awesome job picking up the extra catches that Moss will be in his limited role this week. It'll be a close one as both team's defense isn't all that great, so I pick Vikes by a score of 24-17.
<b>Eagles vs Ravens</b> It's the battle of the videogame cover boys. Philly has been on fire this year, and even tho they almost lost a mighty close one to Cleveland last week, the McNabb-TO connection continues to be one of the hottest duos going this year. I don't cthe Ravens lose by a decent gap, 20-7.
<b>Patriots vs Steelers</b> I wanna order a Roethlisberger!!!! Probably the rookie QB who is having one of the best starting seasons since the legendary Dan Marino. Still, no matter how well Big Ben passes the ball and how much Bettis runs it, they still aren't good enough to top one of the best defenses in the NFL. True, the Super Bowl champs don't put that many points on the board, but still expect the Pats to win this won by a good margin, 17-6.
<b>Falcons vs Broncos</b> Just out of pure spite to all the Mike Vick lovers I hope the Broncos romp all over Falcons. I'm fed up of hearing all the "Vick can't mold into WC Offense" BS. After their first 4 straight wins, everyone was on the Vick bandwagon again with that bogus "Vick Experience" commercial, now two losses later, everyone is taking it all back. Yeah, Vick's gonna lose it, so there. I can't give an honest prediction for this, but for the hell of it I'll pick Denver going over by a score of 31-10.
<b>49ers vs DA Bearz</b> Yes, the main event, Sunday Night <i>Prime Time</i>. Ok, it may be one of the least anticipated SNFB match-ups this year, but I'm actually expecting my struggling Niners to pull out a victory here. The underrated Bears defense is starting to get healthy again with Urlacher back in the mix, but their QB situation is horrible, with them resorting to their third stringer to start this week's game as Chicago is definitely feeling the sting without Rex Grossman, and trading away their top two receivers in the offseason. It won't be that high scoring of a game, but expect the Niners to pull this one away, 10-0.
That's all, NFL Kickoff is in 20 minutes, lez see how well I do in my picks.
Hey yo. This hellacious work week is finally over, thank God. Man what a week, we had quite the workload and was busting ass all week long. Definitely one of the toughest weeks I've had at this job my 3 three years there. They had another potluck thing at work tonight and I actually cooked my fourth or fifth actual dish to bring there. Some cheeseburger pasta recipe that Carlos gave me, it turned out pretty damn good too. This was also Aubree's last day at work. Huzzzah to that. I played that "Celebration" song by Kool & the Gang on my way home from work as a result.
Watched RAW, it was pretty decent, though they didn't even mention a couple big things that happened at the PPV the week before (tag title change, flair and orton showing respect after the match). I heard the head bookers were absent and HHH was put in charge so there you go. Been watching the new Dream Job also lately. I only saw the premier episode from season one unfortunately, but I caught the last three consecutive episodes. I forgot how much I loved this show, I'm not that big of a nut on reality shows, but this one is very impressive.
This halloween should be pretty decent, 49ers are playing the Bears on Sunday Night Football so it should be fun to watch the 49ers last nationally televised game of the season. Tho prolly not the most exciting either, Mike & Mike of ESPN Radio has it ranked last as the most anticipated game this week. But they (and me too) are predicting the niners to win their second game of the season! I'll prolly catch a bar real quick too, I overheard this one hot gal I work with say she's going to one on dressed up as a naughty nurse....so yeah, maybe I'll accidentally bump into her there and try to hit it off, and fail again.
Before I take off, I did a review of THUG2, . Ok, that's it for this week. Latez!

Man, I am getting a lot farther inbetween these entries than I wanted to, call it an undesired combination of lack of motivation and being too busy :D
Finished up the work week with no problems. I got a much needed haircut on Wendesday while I ran around and did a couple of errands with Steve. Other than that the work week was same old same old. I got all the videos I ordered online in the mail on Wendesday too. I got 24 season 1 set, Boys & Girls VHS, and THUG 2 on Xbox.
Latest television thoughts.....I read the Taboo Tuesday results, sounded like a fairly decent show with the main event between Orton and Flair looked to be a classic and an injured Shawn Michaels working a helluva match with HHH. From the results tho the rest of the card didn't sound all that spectacular, especially the women's matches. Smackdown is slowly getting better, Carlito Cool actually looks like he has potential in a gutsy move of the WWE to put the US belt on him in his debut match. Booker T/JBL feud currently forming looks to be the best one yet out of Bradshaw's rather unmemorable title reign. I hope they give the Book the belt. He deserves it. TNA was what it is, it is starting to get a bit repetitive now, I'm tired of seeing Petey Williams and Jeff Jarrett squashes each week. I hate most of the WWE/WCW washups save for Disco, Dlo, and Raven, but that's it :) Victory Road actually sounds like it can be a good card tho. Don't ya think they're contradicting themselves by saying 'the old world is crumbling' and promoting that yesteryear's stars like Hall, Nash, and Piper are making their return to TNA at this show? Nevertheless, I hope it ends up being a success.
Weekend went rather strange. Friday was fine, Joey and Steve came over but we didn't really do anything. Steve lately has this bad habit of just getting music online and burning it on cds the last few times he's been over. Either Joe and I want to play a game that Steve doesn't so he just surfs online and vice versa. In this scenario, Joe and I played MK: Deception and Thug2, while Steve and I battled it out in Showdown and Day of Reckoning. We did try to get our first round of Monopoly going in quite some time, but about 40 minutes in Steve got pissed cause he didn't catch Joey landing on Park Place that he owned and he missed out on collecting his $35 rent. He then accused Joey of being a cheater and tossed my Monopoly board on my living room floor. That prick.
On Saturday I got together with Jarod and Dawn and his friend Quimby along with his girlfriend April. We went cosmic bowling and I actually did really well, for me anyways. I bowled a 102, 106, and 133. In that last game I had 2 strikes and 4 spares, my score probably would have been better if I wouldn't of had a gutter ball after one of the spares. Afterwards, we went to see that new movie at the theatre, "The Grudge." The movie's plot was pretty much crap, but in shock value it sure as scared the bejeesus out of me. It had some major suspense build up, and if it wasn't for Jarod & Quimby being so drunk off their ass in the theatre and laughing throughout almost the entire flick I doubt I would have been able to keep my composure as good as I did. Hell, the first major scare scene alone resulted in damn near the entire theatre screaming out loud.
After that weird experience, I dropped them all off and headed home and watched disc one of the six disc 24 season one set. I recognized a couple of other movie actors in there before they hit it big. Like that one chick who rips off Sarah Michelle Gellar from Cruel Intentions in Not Another Teen Movie plays one of the terrorist chicks, and the Bower daughter that gets kidnapped is the main porn star in The Girl Next Door. I am really impressed with the series thus far, interesting concept of course and the plot is also keeping me on the edge of my seat wondering what the hell is going to happen next. I'm just trying to picture what it must have been like for that one gal in the first four hours of the season, who got boned, slipped a ruphee, had her arm broken with a crowbar, then got on a heroin high, and finally ended the wild night by getting hit dead on with a car would have felt like, freaking unbelievable.
Sunday was another fun day of NFL action. 49ers have a bye this week so I was spared one of their humiliating losses. Vikings did good with Moss and Bennett in their severely limited roles. Mwelde Moore tho looks to be doing great tho, and I can't believe the Vikes have 4 good running backs when teams like Tampa Bay and Miami struggle to have just one. Giants lost though, Warner wasn't on his game tonight, but he didn't do as bad as he did in his final years at St. Louis. Eagles/Browns was a lot more exciting than what I anticipated, I didn't expect it to become an overtime classic. Good to see New Orleans pick up a win too, they really needed one badly. During the second set of games Carlos swung by and showed me the new Dodge Truck he bought. Really huge 4x4 v8 engine. Damn good ride indeed. Shortly after that Corey came over and we did our first night of gaming in quite some time. Did a lil bit of THUG 2, NBA 2K5, NASCAR 2005, Eve of Destruction, Knights of the Old Republic, and Day of Reckoning.
That wraps up another week for me, be back in a couple days with my Fantasy update!
