Yes! It is perfect, this is exactly what I have been holding out for.

Cannot speak for the naysayers but I think it looks bad ass. I have the money saved up in the bank ready to buy this and all the PSP games ive been missing out on day one.

Am i the only one who finds Kojima hard to stomach? His main input in games is a terribly convulted, and weak plot. Although, it sure does go along way in making a game stand out.

weak...plot?

Does not compute.

Convulted I will give you, weak no.

5-9 people on the street at once ?

Euroshinobi

Not really, there are several areas and missions where there are 15+ on the screen at once. The evil Police Station one where you have reapers helping you comes to mind and so does the Street Fight. The Street Fight one where the two gangs are fighting each other was intense. There were dozens of them, the minimap was almost completely red.

also did anyone else notice the spiderman movie rip ? 'Choose who to save, the woman you love, or some random pedestrians' lol

Euroshinobi

It is not a Spiderman rip off. That situation is a timeless classic that has been used in some form in pretty much every popular comic book you can think of since Super Hero comics existed.

[QUOTE="iowastate"]

Since this is Gamespot the scores from any other site are irrelevant.

Interesting but not of any real value here, except for comparison to OUR scores, which are what you have to use in site.

II-FBIsniper-II

Umm, since when?

Just ignore it, let those who want to follow the asinine "SW rules" do it. It is not as if they can stop everyone else from discussing and using what ever scores they want. I mean honestly, what is the most they can do? Tell you that "your breaking the forum rules!!1111!!!".

That is really going to do oh so much to change my mind.

I don't know whether I should laugh at how offensive this is, or shake my head in wonder. It's like a forum poster version of Joseph McCarthy

So, Russian people = evil. Sorry spud, but you really need to get with the times. The Cold War's been over for the better part of two decades.

Verge_6

That is one of the most beautiful things anyone has ever said to me.... thank you.

[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"]SAS ....... again ........ I might pass on the campaign, unless they have the Navy Seals. Leejjohno

What's wrong? The SAS are basically THE model special forces around the world even to this day.

It depends on what the mission context is really. A huge mistake most seem to make when comparing "special forces" is that all special forces groups were created equal.

A quick wiki read and most will learn very fast that the Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Marine Recon, etc. Have very different strengths and purposes when it comes to what they do.

But yes, the SAS are awesome. Even better would be a game where you get to play as a Royal Marine.

Thank god, I was afraid they were really going to go with what some people were wanting and throw in Spetsnatz missions. The last thing I want to do is play a role of someone in the **** Russian military.Verge_6

That didn't sound xenophobic at all.

Oh really? What a shame it was supposed to sound it.

I do not want to play as the Russian military or any eastern force for that matter. I am American and come from the West, When I play videogames I want to be the good guys and play as someone from a NATO nation or friends. A game where you play as someone in the Israeli Defense Force or a "what if" game where you are a South Korean soldier facing off against N. Korea in a future war would be amazing as well.

I am fine with more SAS, to be honest anything Western World related I am fine with. Navy Seals are terribly overrated in Hollywood and video games. It would be nice for the Rangers, PJs, or Combat Control to get some love. Would also be pretty neat for the Mossad or GSG9 to have a part in a few games. Honestly there are all kinds of counter terriorst/intelligence agencies out there that are really interesting.
