His schlock Star Trek pastiches are as excruciatingly hard to watch as Irwin Allen dreck. They are anathema to true aficionados of the genre, with science no more plausible than that of a '30s comic strip. Sad, really, considering how much he actually does get right.
@steve4123456789 @HAMMERCLAW @torreth1 Yes, just not enough someones, that's the problem. Their core audience is still there, and there's plenty of kids, but not enough stuff to entice the xbox/PS crowd. Their latest gimmic controller isn't drawing crowds and their system is woefully underpowered.
@steve4123456789 @torreth1 It's not a question of being shallow or stupid, Nintendo is a wonderful game company. It is true, however, that their targeted demographic is ages 5 through adolescence, for most first party titles, which a lot of adults enjoy, also. They feel no need to grow up with their audience. That's why so many of their fans move on to other consoles or PC. There are or have been more mature titles on their consoles, but their latest machine is a technical disapointment to the hardcore gamers who have turned their back on it. You just read about their disconnect with third party developers.
