@DrBob27 Well i think they are making more than enough money as it is by selling the product in the first place so there is no point in asking more money to "use" a product , is there ?
So yea, there is a boundary between greedy and making money.
I'm no longer going to talk about how greedy EA is. Premium service is only a valid choice for a product that is constantly updated.
Not to mention If i was a player without premium, i'd quit the game thinking its idiotic i can't use the same stuff as others.
Maybe they are trying to create a community which is better compared to what COD has. Its like, " Join our club! It's for people who wanna be at a better place with better people!" . It might actually work but i pray it won't.
When you hear a game delayed, you notice that the company is kind enough to change the deadline of the project and cares about quality of their product. Its always a good sign as long as they don't spam it like Diablo 3.
I mostly use twitter to follow important people that i know or to follow some of the columnists that i read frequently. Its a good tool to shout at the world what you are doing.
Still i'm terrified to see how twitter dominates the social media in my country. To understand the success of the series people watch on TV, authorities follow twitter and get information to see if people liked it. I'm not even gonna talk about the power it gives to people, which makes them write cruel and idiotic comments on weird subjects.
Well its logical that they make no profit considering they are working on three games "WoW: MoP, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2: HotS" . However, with the amount of preorders of Call of Duty and Diablo 3, its weird to see them not making profit.
Well they make quality product alright, but the amount you pay for the prevention/appraise phase of a product also decreases the chance of failure but you also may lose money because of it.
@wexorian Not so sure about Warcraft, its a little bit off the chart after the recent events with WoW. We'll see what happens in Diablo 3 and decide which one is better.
