So, just for record, I won't have any audio problems?

Okay, so that said, am I losing anything by buying the monitor I posted? I love the resolution, brand, and price, and I am going to be hooking up a headset.

Apparently, this one does not have HDMI, yet it still has a really high resolution. I'm confused.

Hmm... so does anyone know how a UPS would protect my computer compared to a power strip?

Recently, I was looking into different types of LCD screens, and I realized that, even though you can get 1920x1080 screens, not all of them support HDMI. What I don't understand is, if the screen resolution is 1920x1080, what makes a non-HDMI version any different from an HDMI version?

Quickly want to ask what exactly I would need to protect my computer against any type of power surge or power outage. I know that a UPS is an option, but I'm not sure if I need something that expensive. I know that surge suppressors and power strips are also options, but I'm not exactly sure what the differences between all of these things are. Hopefully someone will be able to explain this to me.

Okay, but what exactly is the efficiency rating? Basically, I just want to know what the difference is between the different levels of 80 PLUS.

Concerning power supplies, I was wondering what this meant. For example, what is the difference between 80 PLUS, 80 PLUS BRONZE, 80 PLUS SILVER, and so on?

Also, keep in mind that the final prices I gave include all tax and shipping/handling costs. And, in case you're interested, I bought my monitor and other accessories at Futureshop.
