@The_Last_Ride: Are you in Latin America? Wouldn't it just easier to have a Family member buy it and "mail" it to you?

That really upsets me because the games designated to Latin America are actually CHEAPER than the games Designated for the US.

Just for a quick Example, and EA in the US has a cost of around $48.00 -$50.00 to the retailer who then marks it up to $59.99

The wholesale cost on the same exact game, if it is designated for the Latin America Market is $38.00 to $42.00 dollars!!!!

The only thing I was excited about from the Ps4 camp was "War Thunder". Is that being released today? If so, then they under promised and over delivered as far as my expectations.

I took issue when they were announcing, promoting and taking Pre-Orders on the "Season Pass" for Watch Dogs weeks before the game was even released. I know it's becoming common practice these days but that one stood out and I found it to be generally offensive to me.

Don't know why, I just did.

I like the the Wiiu, It's cute. I got one for my 6 year old. I really like the fact that it has those games where the family plays together. Not online, not on system link, but in the same room! I think that is really important to gaming. It's what we all grew up with. Gaming in general needs more of that. We really enjoyed the Mario chase and the one where someone is a Ghost.

I also recently purchase Mario Kart.

But when it comes to REAL games, like a game I'm going to play with grown ups online, Chances are it's going to be a 3rd Party Game, Like EA or Take 2. I sure the hell aint going to play any First Party Nintendo product by myself. Seeing that Nintendo has 0% 3rd Party support, as far as my gaming preference and what I'm looking to get out of my time? Wiiu Is completely irrelevant. For me personally, Nintendo has been completely irrelevant since the N64. That was the last serious game machine they had and it was the 3rd Party games like Rares Golden Eye and Acclaims Wrestling that made that a gaming machine.

Hey guys,

So I stopped the whole rat race and keeping up with PC stuff but now I want to get back into it and need some help. Like normal - regular help.

Ok, so last time I bought a PC Gaming Machine was when Ago Of Conan released. I had some money and went to Best Buy, Grabbed the game, walked over to the PC guys and said "I want a lap top that will run this game balls out!" - About $1,800.00 dollars later I had a Gateway FX or something or another. Yes, it did in fact run the game balls out....but after about 2 years it was struggling to run any new games being released.

So....About 3 years after that...maybe even like 2 1/2 years later my kid wanted a Lap Top. Went up to Walmart and purchased some Dell something or another on clearance. It cost me about $230.00 bucks.

Now, this Dell I got was actually WAY more powerful than the Gateway Gaming Laptop I purchased a few years earlier. Like, twice as powerful and a fraction of the cost. Not only could it run Age of Conan better than the Gateway ever did, It could run like 4 instances of the game at a time! It also could run that new Funcom MMO (On DX 9 and extremely low settings) but it ran it well enough that It didn't impede my enjoyment. It was Forsaken World or whatever? The one with the Illuminati?

Soooo....I am done with the whole spending alot of money and buying super powerful stuff. What I need right now is a PC or Lap Top...depending on the bang for the buck that will run this new WildStar MMO. If there is something like that Dell I got at Walmart out there that can run the game at the price range I picked up the other Dell for I would be willing to buy 2-3 of them (So me and the kids can all play this and stuff like Gary's Mod and Smite together).

So just to simplify it, I need a PC or Lap Top that I can just go up to Walmart, Best Buy, Fryes, or even Tiger Direct (All of these retailers are in Dallas) and just buy it. Go home, and be able to play and enjoy this Wildstar MMO. Can someone link something like I'm talking about? I have no intention or desire to even try to ever play games like Battlefield on it. I just need something good enough to enjoy WildStar and maybe that new Everquest I have been hearing about...Oh and Disney Infinity would be cool too.

You maybe thinking well why don't you just go back up to Walmart ad grab another $230.00 Laptop. In all honesty, I feel like I was extremely lucky when that happened and knpwing my luck...it aint gonna happen again.

So what should I buy? Or what was a completely BOSS PC 2 - 3 years ago that's like $300 bucks now?

Thanks!

Well, PS4 & XOne gamers are starving and will buy anything to play something on their new consoles (*cough* Wolfenstein *cough*).

Another point of interest is well, they launched that game onto 4 Systems (5 if you count PC). All with a heavy installed base. Yes, even the new systems have a very healthy install base.

Lastly and not to bash on Ubi cause I love them....Ubi games have no Shelf Life...they are kind of like Gears or Halo. They shoot their whole load at launch and have little to no sales afterwards. Hell if you are willing to wait 2 - 3 weeks after launch you can almost always buy a Ubi $59.99 for $39.99

I wouldn't sell it because it's not really worth anything and it is only going to continue to price drop.

If you don't have one, Grab an X360 instead of the PC Parts. You can get just about every single AAA Game from the last 8 years for about four dollars now. Now that is value! You can buy 4 - 6 copies of a game like World at War or Tom Clancy Hawx and give free copies to all your friends for the price on one new release game.

Sharing is caring!

They got bigger concerns than Menus. Hell that was the least of their worries.
