@Jacanuk: I totally agree. Hell, Give us some good 3rd Person Shooters or something a bit different! Even the way Rainbow 6 would turn third person in cover would be refreshing!

Re-Boot Syphon Filter....well at least Metal Gear hasn't gone FPS....yet.

@nath_mac: A new Rainbow 6 I would be excited about. People tend to forget before Call of Duty ruled the roost, Rainbow 6 was king of the Xbox Live shooters for YEARS!!!

Plus, it's the only Genre/Category Ubisoft is lagging in right now. A really good Shooter and they would be the #1 Publisher of 2014!

Oh, and I wouldnt mind seeing a new Football game, like the one from Dreamcast return, 2k something or another. Forgot who made it, I just know it was the last Football game I enjoyed. Can't stand Madden. Has always felt like the players were sliding around and the controls always felt loose.

That 2k game, everything felt so tight!

I don't understand why they haven't been fired yet. I also don;t understand why that Reggie guy even has a job there. I mean, what does he offer them? It's just one of those CEO's that gets hired because he was a CEO somewhere else. Wasn't he the CEO for Reebok?!?!?

Bring in gamers, Promote from within the Industry! Find who ever is the most successful 3rd Party Negotiator out there and hire him!

I just went and purchased Mario Kart 8 this Saturday. I have to tell you, it's ok. As far as a game, I was surprised how good the graphics were.

In general, I was looking for something the entire family could play together. Currently, When we play it's usually 3-4 XBOX's and in 3-4 different rooms. Although that can be awesome, It's not really playing "Together".

So, anyway, this was the perfect game, at the perfect time to help get the family actually playing together. My wife hates video games but she can play this. My 7 year old is awful at games, but she can play this. 10 year old loves it, 13 year old meh....and I like it so..

If you are looking for something to play together and by together I mean, actually in the same room I can't recommend it enough. If your a dude living in an apartment by yourself...and don't have friends over all the time, I sure the hell wouldn't buy it.

So It's Mortal Kombat 10? Awesome, I love Mortal Kombat, top 3 Franchises of all time. Favorite fighting game of all time.

Yes, Sub-Zero needs to be a bit more respectable this time around!

They are not real digital purchases but a paying for the rights to use the software. These rights can be legally removed by the distributor or those that gave them the right sell the right to play the others.

Pay for them and enjoy them but do not expect to keep the game long term.

Wiouds is spot on. It just took him a sentence or two to say what took me a thousand words :)

So...now the big question is, What will happen and how will the customer base respond when X360 Live gets turned off? Microsoft has already stated that the 2 Networks are not compatible and the Architecture is completely different. Meanwhile Sony has all kinds of plans to make sure anything people purchased digital does not get left behind.

It's not a question if, it's a question of when X360 Live goes the way of Alderaan.

After each gen, I sold all my old games. Now I'm regretting it and building my collection back. The kind of collection I want would have a few hundred games and cost thousands of dollars overall

The problem is that my funds are limited, so I'm being smart about it.

I'm buying all my games used from the internet. Lightly damaged boxes and greatest-hits/GOTY boxes are an eye-sore, but I figure I can replace them. I'll get everything I need to practically play the game first and then worry about the cosmetics.

I also decided to stick to 10 consoles max. There are numerous consoles that have stuff I like on them but not enough for me personally to justify a purchase.

So I'll probably piece it together in a couple of years. Granted, already I have more games than I'll able to beat, but collecting is nonetheless really important to me.

What about you?

Right now is the PERFECT Time to Build an X360 & Ps3 Collection. Almost every single AAA Title from the last 10 years can be purchased at $4.99 - $14.99 or less!

Ive been buying classic awesome games and 4 copies of them (To do multiplayer at the house) Games like Hawx for $4.00!!! tHE oUTFIT FOR $1.99 , cALL OF dUTY 4 FOR LIKE $2.99!!!

I just got Borderlands 2, Spec Ops the Line & Mafia 2 (hey 2 outta 3 aint bad) at Walmart for $19.99!!!!

To me gaming is and has always been a social activity. I was never really one for 1 Player Games. So I'm 40 and I still play & still have just as much interest as ever. The only thing that deters me from playing more or being more interested in it is:

1) Time - As you get older, you get busier, Job, Life, Kids, Dog, Chores, all that crap. It does not leave much time for gaming and it's hard to stay focused and stay into something when you only get to play an hour a week.

2) Energy - Same as time, lol. Basically, I'm getting old so I can't stay up until 2 AM every night gaming...so that does not leave much energy.

3) Social - Right now my only social gaming is with the kids. I feel like I would play more if I had more RL Friends online playing. So I don't have that appeal anymore. As you get older the side effects of #1 & #2 start killing your social life.

So many people get upset about the 4-8 hour games...hell those are the only ones I have time to play. I think the Batman Games are the only games I have played beginning to end in the last 5 years. Hour or so a night and done in a week. They are perfect!

Wow really? Horizon was awful...as a Forza fan I was offended by it's whole cheesy "Need For Speed/Fast & Furious" garbage.

I dunno..I like Forza & Have been playing the regular series forever...That being said I have never made it more than 60% Complete on the previous Forza by the time they release the next one. They need to slow down, Less is more!
