Most of the people on here like video gaming. a LOT. but when does it become more than just a hobby, but instead become an addiction you can't walk away from?

The MMO's. When you start shrugging off real life oppurtinities and commitments you have a serious problem. Particularly the ones that use the system of TSP = Winning.

I was at a bar a few months ago and a guy was telling me how his wife was a b word and they were getting divorced. Always **** about him playing WoW.

He even had a young daughter....

I looked at him and said "Stop playing WoW dude". WTF? Is it that hard to figure out?

"Well I enjoy it and I only really play when she goes to sleep"

I said yah, you mean when she goes to sleep sad, alone and ignored because you would rather spend time with that game"

That guy was truely addicted.

Oh and the last thing I want to mention are these ridiculous agrrements that come with Digital.

You know you do not actually own ANY OF IT?

At anytime they can pull the plug and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT?

Hackers FTW! Cripple these greedy arss corporations! To me they are the modern day Robin Hoods! If it wasn't for them fighting the good fight for us who would? Congress? lol!

I work in the game Industry and I have to tell you I love these guys, The kid that Jail Broke the Ps3 all of them.

Look, the bottom line is everything is goimg digital WAY TOO FAST! I am an avid supporter of Digital stuff, always have been until recently.

It is to the point where in the next few years you will be forced to go digital and this is where I have a problem with it.

Most likely the next XBOX won't even take a disc! It will be an all digital machine. I think once people start seeing the bad side of digital they will be less likely to support it and the game makers will as well. It's so new that very few people have yet to see the "Bad" side.

Things that piss me off about digital:

Anything Apple does. My I phone broke, I lost everything I was told "Well rebuy it!" But you can see that I already purchased it, I have receipts "Well you should have backed it up" F them, no more Digital with them.

Ubi Soft and so many others. I can;t play my game unless I'm connected online? WTH? I undertsand if I want to play Multi Player but for a game not to work because I can't connect? A SINGLE PLAYER GAME!!??!?!

Same goes for the XBLA & PSN Arcade stuff that only launch when your connected. That is BS!

Last but not least, I am no pirate. I haven't copied or shared a game since I had a Commodore 64 but once this stuff goes 100% Digital and I can get every single thing in the world for free with a 5 Minute Software hack and some tinkering around? You would be a fool not to do it.

Everyone needs to tap teh break on this digital **** and these hackers are actually helping with that,

On top of all that the cost for High Speed Internet is going to triple over the next 5 Years, Average price will be $150.00 to $200.00 a month.

Do you honestly think all of these people are going to let you circumvent their services? You think Time Warner or any other Cable/High Speed provider is going to sit there and let you cancel every service they offer (TV, Cable TV, Premium Channels, HBO) so you can just use Netflix for 9 Bucks a month?

Hell no! They will just charge so much for Internet it will off set any of their other losses.

Homefront wasn't a very good game, most who purchased it were not satisfied.

I watched all the videos, was very excited. When I put it in my 360 it didn't look like anything I saw. It was almost like it had original XBOX Graphics. That is what I found dissapointing.

Legally the store has to return your game, because its misinforming. Just pressure them and ask to speak to a manager. If you act like you know your legal rights they will bend over backwards to prevent any legal action being taken.firebolt53

If it was a Game Stop or a Walmart I may have been alot more agressive and made a scene. It's an independent shop. Ma & Pa so I chose to take my issue directly to THQ who told me to stick it.

I know these independents can't compete because the game industry is crooked as a snakes arss. So f it.

I know this guy can't return the product to THQ. If he could he would have taken it back. For him to take it hell lose sixt bucks then maybe 30 bucks if he is lucky enough to sell it Used.

I'm still madder than hell about. Mainly because the way THQ Handled it. F them. I should have known better anyway.

I'm not the type of person to yell at a waitress or demand to scream at a manager if I have an unpleasent dining experience. I'll just never go there again.

I'll just never go THQ again. Honestly, I can;t even think of a decent THQ title in their library or on the Horizon. The way they handled this was really dissapointing though, Such a huge succesful publicly traded comapny yet are not held responsible or accountable for anything they do or any mistakes on their part.

So I was at the game store the other day..

Looking around for something with Mutli Player. I make it a point to only bring home Multi Player games. Keeps the peace with teh kids and they always have friends over and no one ever wants to watch someone else play.

Up to this point I had no interest in Red Faction Armegeddon. BUT after holding the game and reviewing the packaging it clearly states 2-4 Player Co-Op.

Yes, I know the game information/details on the back of an X360 game can often be confusing but I am an experienced game buyer and fully undertstand how to read this.

Green for the System orange for XBOX Live. Every detail/feature offered seperately in a different box. So now I have to buy this game. Again, I am no fan of Red Faction or THQ but seeing how same system multi player is harder and harder to come by these days I going to grab this game.

I went from complete disinterest to complete excitement.

Well, I get home, put the game in...It is 1 Player only...I scratch my head. Look at it again. It says 2-4 same system. What the hell? Open the book. A code drops out for a certain game mode. OH! Well obviously I need to put this Code into to make the 2-4 Player Game Feature work!

Nope...

As we all know, Stores do not allow opened games to be returned. Especially one where you used the Online Code, that would be dis honest. THQ Keeps telling me to bring it back to the store. Store tells me they can;t take opened games retuned.

I'm out $60.00 Dollars. F THQ. Now before you take teh publishers side Look at the back of your Halo, or your Mortal Kombat or even your Homefront - ALL ARE LABELED CORRECTLY!

Red Faction is clearly labeled incorrectly. They made teh mistake and basically told me to stick it. F them, Their library is awful, Their Multiplayer Registration is a joke. So sick and tired if these Publisher's not being held responsible for anything!!!

Do any of you watch Spartacus? It is a very mature, graphic show on Starz. It is really freaking amazing and is also availble through Netflix.

Also, how many of you are familiar withCapcom's Colosseum: Road to Freedom?

It's an old game now but when it released it was freaking amazing! It took some getting used to, It was one of those at first seemed very simple and basic but the more you played it the deeper it became.

The combat was complex and strategic, It had multi player, Versus, Co-op in addition to a ton of character development and RPG Mechanics.

Anyway, I have been digging all over the internet in hopes of finding something about a sequal being made, or even better if someone would design a similar game using the license from the new Spartacus show.

What do you gus think? You know of anything? I had high hopes that "Project Kingdoms" was going to be something very similar but that turned out to be"Ryse" aKinnect game.

I am really surprised nothing is in development (That I know of) Surely a game like Colleseum: ROad to Freedom with todays graphics and XBOX Live could easily be a Top 5 Title and spur a few sequels.
