[QUOTE="Hubadubalubahu"][QUOTE="KC_Hokie"]In terms of potential networth people with degrees will make way more in their lifetimes. KC_Hokie

Not true at all, many people don't even use the degree they went to college for.

Facts don't back you up.

I'm sorry you feel that charts and grpahs dictate facts of life. It doesn't take a college education to make something of yourself and in no way does it provide human worth.

You don't get what I mean. What I mean is the right to dignity and respect based on their personality traits, not how much money they make.

Do I hold the same respect for a high school dropout without any valuable skills who is drain on their family or society vs. any educated or skilled person that is productive?

Of course not.

Thats called generalizing and it makes you ignorant as fuk There are different forms of education than just schooling. You ever heard of on the job work experience?

Depends if you are talking to one as almighty as KC. We plebeians have no right to breath his air.

I dropped out of college and ended up in real estate. Im not unsatisfied with my choice. Like any job you get out what you put into it. There is money to be made. There is a giant misconception that if you do not go to college you will ultimately become a nobody or work in fast food. It is definitely more risky now then ever to go to college just because of how many people are doing it. Unless you go into medical or law you are not guaranteed a job when you leave school and are left with a lot of debt. I know alot of kids go to school full time and don't work while they do it, (don't ask me how, nice parents, financial aid?), and then they get out of school and have little to put on their resume except their education, which just isn't enough for alot of the things people go to school for now when there are hundreds of others with the same degree. Your just not special if you have a college degree anymore, it is the norm.

[QUOTE="jesuschristmonk"][QUOTE="Hubadubalubahu"] You can only smoke it in coffee shops (not cafe's those sell just coffee) and in your own home and certain parks. You can not smoke it or tobacco in restaurants. And no tobacco in the coffee shops either, lol, they don't want that sh*t in their lungs either. You still get some kids smoking it in the alleys occasionally but kids will be kids. Tell them they can't do something and they have to do it. But besides the red light district (as amazing as that was) Amsterdam is really a beautiful place with nice people and I would love to live there, and I didn't meet one person who didn't speak english which surprised me. And the architecture was amazing, every street and building reeked of history.

Don't know why I completely forgot about personal use in your home lol. Kind of mixed restaurants with the coffee shops...But I did specifically remember that it was publicly illegal to use. I can say it definitely is a very beautiful place (like most of Europe), but don't really see myself visiting it anytime soon... Also. Kind of surprised that you didn't see anyone that spoke English, since you'd figure the place would be populated with enough Americans and what not want some weed that some people would learn it lol.

Lol nah I didn't see anyone that didn't speak english

[QUOTE="jesuschristmonk"][QUOTE="TH1Sx1SxSPARTA"][QUOTE="jesuschristmonk"] You can thank Nixon, other presidents/people, and the tobacco and alcohol companies for that lol. I find it amazing that it isn't legal anywhere in the world.

youve really never heard of amsterdam?

I'm sure this was already pointed out, but you can only use marijuana in certain restaurants (if not all restaurants) in Amsterdam. You can't just go walking around the city smoking a blunt, because they will arrest you (unless this has changed in the past couple months?)

You gotta admit men can't lie on their back for a living. Those women at the bunny ranch in neveda or escorts make sh*t ton of money. A lot of them start there to pay for school and continue doing it once they get out just because they make so much money. (Watched an HBO special on it.) And if anything it is empowering to have that power over a man. Less degrading than working at a mc donalds or pizza joint. Strippers even can make $1000 in one night of tips. Imagine getting that waiting tables. Also even when waiting tables an attractive young lady has a better chance at getting a healthier tip. Then there are the women who live solely off of previous marriages and alimony. There is always that women going on husband # 3 still living like it's the 50's and she can't get work because she has been a loving housewife all her life. ROFL. Of course men have opportunities to do things women can't im sure, sports being one of them. (I mean how much can women's basketball players really make?) The argument works both ways depending on which examples you choose to look at. Much like any argument, it is pointless to try and tell who has it easier nowadays. But I think it would be complete crap to say that women are still oppressed and have a harder time getting by then men. Try being a midget in the workplace. Even at an office job they would have to get different chairs. Most employers just don't want to accommodate for someone a few feet small.
