I noticed they complain about the PS3 version's frame rate on Gamespot... is it bad? Also, I'm used to the arcade-style million mile grinds from the THPS series... is this game experience more like real skating? The demo doesn't really seem to indicate what the game plays like. Do I get to skate across varied locales like the older THPS games? Like I skate a line in Amsterdam one minute, and the next minute I'm in Minneapolis.

From what I've been reading it has FPS issues in certain parts of the city if youre using an HDTV and playing at a high resolution. If you have an SDTV I heard it's not much of a problem. EA isnt so great at coding for the cell.

You are already spending a good deal on money on the system... why not spend a little more to get a lot more? I am already downto 50GB on my 80GB... and I had it for less than a month! Plus, you get to rekindle your love for PS2 games and put inyour SD card to get files off of and plug in a bunch of crap into the extra USB hubs.

Its like people refusing to pay for higher octane gas... you are already paying a price to get to low end stuff, just add a little more to get the really good stuff.

My gf has a ps2 so Im not going to spend an extra $100 just to get 2 ps2's in the house lol. 40GB is apmle for me Im not a media/demo junky. And +5 points to target for 3 month return policy gonna get it there then..

I don't understand how you got to enjoy BETTER games than me. I'm getting a PS3 this afternoon and I'll be enjoying the same games as you, that and the dozen more good titles that got released in the last year.
