This is a big purchase so I want to make sure I buy from a retailer that doesn't throw all their merchandise around on the ground and has an easy return policy so I would have no troubles returning it if it is defective. The following retailers are around my area (San Jose\Bay Area):
Best Buy
Gamestop
Target
Walmart
Fry's Electronics
Circuit City (not sure if they even sell PS3's though)
So which is the safest bet for me to get this thing from in terms of return policy and good merchandise handling when shipments come in? Thanks in advance.
Dude you're asking the following question in a PS3 forum: Should I get the PS3 and forget about my 360? That's more or less what you're asking and in a forum like this the obvious answer is yes from everyone.
The 360 is a good console however it's reached it's peak long ago, the games won't get any more impressive or technical than what they are now. The PS3 has huuuge potential for the future, I've read articles says none of the games have even tapped into 30% of the PS3's power, not even ones like Assassin's Creed or Resistance or Ninja Gaiden Sigma. So that says alot. The PS3 is a much better long term investment. HOWEVER, my father works for Microsoft and he told me that Microsoft is in the works with a newer XBOX. He said it might not be like a full flesh new XBOX, like XBOX 720 or anything lol but he said it's definately going to be some upgraded version (not like the black elite one) with a faster GPU and processor etc, to catch up to the PS3. (if it can) So who knows..
Im the first 1 on call of duyy 4 to complete all the online challenges for the ps3 naughtydogg13
Translation: I'm the last in life to complete the challenge of getting any pu55y on this planet.
Damn it all...
Ubisoft has betrayed me for the last time...
I've given up. This game is off my "to get" list... anyone else?

a) You know you're still going to get it when it comes out, especially if you're so emotional about it with all this betrayal talk. (a video game mind you) So end this geek propoganda.
b) it's just a game as I said, kiddo. Enjoy the other non-nerdy part of your life (if any) in the meantime. There's nothing to give up on as it's not like you're trying to accomplish something. Go have a beer and get laid in the meantime.
Hey, my girlfriend has glasses, but she is still hot. Glasses on a good looking lady are hot as hell. By the way, I'm 35, love gaming, and play whenever my girlfriend allows me to.KB1ankenship
Sorry I didn't really mean it like that it was just for effect to add to the fat ugly toad image lol. My GF wears glasses sometimes too actually but 99% of the time contacts.
[QUOTE="brgreen"][QUOTE="trey555555"]Don't have to worry about my wifes spending needs she plays all the same games I do. So your generalization about women is wrong.that sounds awesome!!! i know what you mean though. sounds like you have a good life. your financially stable and happy. good thing is without a girl or wife you can buy whatever you want without worrying about your girls or wife spending or needs. you should pick up another hobby since it seems like you have good time in your hands. like making music, you should get a yamaha xs 8, :) youll love it
trey555555
well see you found someone special who enjoys the same hobby as you. not every guy is lucky like that. The person who made this forum might end up with a hating gaming owner
My girlfriend (20) loves video games. I'm 21. I got her a PS2 for her bday (mostly cuz its not a PS3 of $400 and theres 3,000 games for the PS2 that she can play, and she isn't hung up on next-gen games she just likes fun games) and it's like the best thing ever for her lol, but of course I got her other things I didn't just cop out with a PS2 it's not exactly the most caring gift lol. Best part is she's a hot little thing. So she's not some ugly fat toad with glasses that likes to game lol.
