I just found out that this game is roughly 8 to 10 hrs of gamplay, and you want how much for this!? Now I'm happy to hear that Sony & MS will possibly give up some info on their next systems in the next few months. However let's keep things in perspective here, if these kind of short ($60) games are what they have in store for us on their next systems.....they can kiss my ass.
@ccgod @HydePark1980 @Flint247 I don't know where you get your info from but all I know is that there's are a few games that are far in development that aren't being ported to the Wii U. Again none of which I would just go out and buy a system for. As for main stream 3rd parties they're getting smaller and smaller in numbers with each passing year.
@ccgod @Flint247 A handful of FPS's counts as declining 3rd party support? Not one of the games mentioned would make make go out and just buy a system for it.
'Sequels kill creativity'........That's interesting considering you've never developed a sequel.
Keeping things in perspective I would probably say that with the entire industry's creativity is on life support nowadays. The West blames the East, the East blames the West and so forth. The East has is guilty of all but giving up on gamers here in the West and the West is guilty of mostly embracing games that have serious tones to them and not branching out as they once did in the past.
@mav_destroyer @HydePark1980 That's the way it use to be once upon a time, but then sometime in the last decade or so gamers and developers alike forgot what gaming was all about. The more serious games became the more we forgot about where we came from.
Now sadly its gotten to a point where these self-proclaimed serious gamers have made themselves the upper-class(as ridiculous as it sounds) of the industry. They feel that they're too good to play most games (regardless of how good they are) outside of having a serious tone to them.(And that's just the software issues!)
With hardware we keep saying that we just want systems that play games no gimmicks or anything. Yet still with newer system launches we want those things to do everything from playing movies to giving back massages.
