[QUOTE="I3LACK5UN"]

I need help, pls:cry:!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's ever encoutered this problem. When I play Spider-man Web of shadows on my laptop, & I enjoy swinging around places alot, but while I'm swinging the game often hangs (stops moving for a second or two) then moves normal again then hangs again.

Plus the game automtically switches my Windows 7 aero to windows 7 basic.

What surprises me more is that games like Crysis & Assassins creed works fine on my laptop, and a lesser game like Web of shadows is having a hard time.:?

Does anybody know what the problem is here & if theres a solution?

Thanx in advance.

ionusX

its a crummy console port.. i have similar issues with TFU1 & 2

spider man games = suck on pc

So I take it this is natural & that there are no solutions to this problem & that I should just accept it (It's not like my memory or my anti virus is the prob.) I just thought that when Crysis & Assassins creed worked on my laptop, anything could work on it. So I avoid any Spider-man games... anything else I should know about?

I didn't wanna make a new thread (for a simple question) so I just posted this question here.

The game works fine, I just find it weird that the control pad I have connected to the PC isn't being recognized by this game. I know its compatible to control pads because theres an option to add vibration and a (control pad only) writen on it. I tried my control pad on my other games like RE5 and Street fighter IV & it worked fine.

Is there an option I'm missing here, is there something I should activate?

Thanx for the help guys!

[QUOTE="gmaster456"] No need to install fans :). Just get a laptop cooling pad.gmaster456

Okay, serioesly, this is weird. So all my games have been moving in SLOW-MO for nearly 2 weeks (Already bought a fan, but I didn't upgrade the RAM to 4GB yet, no money:cry:) Then for some unknown reason my games suddenly started to work fine:D, a week later, everything became SLOW-MO again:(. I tried retracing what I did then to fix it or what I changed to make it slow again (even deleted the new programs I installed just in case it was that.) but alas, still no change.

Anybody know what's going on here? I'm planning on getting my laptop replaced already because of this.

As always thanx for any help.

What programs do you have running in the background and what antivirus do you have?

Anti virus - Microsoft security essentials

There shoudn't be any programs running in the background, I used Gamebooster to shoot down everything (plus at one time I was downloading a movie while playing and it was moving fine). I also use Advanced system care, Auslogic Disk defrag, & Auslogics Registry cleaner, all of which are ment to help my laptop move faster.

Why'd it bother to work for a week in normal speed before it went back to SLOW-MO? It doesn't make sence:?. Again thanx:D!

[QUOTE="I3LACK5UN"][QUOTE="gmaster456"] More RAM would help but I'l gonna guess that heat is the issue here. What FPS are you getting?gmaster456
For both Resident Evil and Street fighter I get under 16 fps. So what does that mean? Is it the RAM that's causing my games to go SLOW-mo? Cause I think memory is the only thing you can upgrade on a laptop (I could be wrong),but I've never heard of fan installations on laptops (then again I've only had my laptop for nearly 2 weeks.) As always thanx for helping a PC gamer newbie.

I'm thinking of buying this game because of its co-op/split screen capability (not a lot of PC games have that), so when I read this has it, I'm jumping at the opportunity. But I wanted to ask if these specs are accurate? says here the HDD it needs is just 2GB (for both parts), is that right? Street fighter 4, which is 2D requires 4GB. http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Watchmen-The-End-Is-Nigh-Arrives-On-PC-And-Xbox-360-15825.html Thanx for the info guys.

I'm new to the PC thing, I've only gotten 3 games (RE5, SFIV, VT09) And I can't seem to find a way to save my game progress, for all 3 games. It asks me to create a Windows live account in order to save the game progress. Which I don't want to do yet, cause I want to collect all the bonus stuff 1st before going on-line, plus I need the training (I,d hate for people to see how pathetic I am at the start of a new game.) Plus, what if I was on the road, with no internet connection, does that mean I wont be able to play? I miss the times of the memory card where it just says SAVE or LOAD. As always thanx in advance to anyone who knows the answer to my query.

Um... Quick question. Just got my Laptop & bought Virtua tennis 2009, when I installed it the screen was small, with black lines on both sides (right & left). On the options menu there wasn't any function to change it (Unlike Resident evil 5). Is it like this on ALL Virtua Tennis 2009 or should I have my CD replaced? As always thanx in advance to the kind person who helps.

[QUOTE="gmaster456"][QUOTE="I3LACK5UN"]Hey, can anyone explain to me why games are moving in SLOW-mo on my laptop? I downloaded System care, Disk defrag, & Registry cleaner to clean anything that maybe slowing down my laptop, but to no effect. So i tried to lower all my ATI radeon specs (Mipmap & and so on) to Performance rather than Quality, but still to no effect. I assumed it was because of the Resident evil 5 game, so I switched to Street fighter 4 (Clearly a lower quality game then RE5), but still its in SLOW-mo. My specs are: Intel Dual core T4500 2.30ghz, ATI Radeon HD5470 1GB DDR3, 2GB DDR2 memory. As you can see my Laptop specs supposedly reaches the Minimum requirements of both games. Do I have to upgrade my 2GB memory? Would that even help? Any suggestion would be helpful. As always thanx in advance.
