Sorry Halo fans, Halo 3 isn't 1/10th the game KZ2 is, and nothing shown so far makes Reach come anywhere close to KZ2 let alone KZ3. Halo 3 is a slow uninspired, stuck in the past generic FPS. KZ is a modern masterpiece. KZ2 won BEST COMPETITIVE MP. ODST Wasn't even nominated and barely scraped a AA score by the press. GamingZuruLol nice argument. Tell me what is generic about Halo? You can't. ODST was just an expansion so good comparison. If you want to compare then let's compare Halo 3 to KZ2. Even though H3 was released 2 years before, it's still more advanced than KZ2 in every possible way in multiplayer.

Halo's story and universe make is not generic to me. KZ2's controls felt very clunky and unresponsive when I gave it a try I cant imagine how it must be during competitive play :? Its so deep an vibrant way better and more fleshed out then KZ's generic "gritty real world' universe.[QUOTE="Sp4rtan_3"][QUOTE="nervmeister"] KZ2's controls, despite their unorthodox design, are far from clunky. And as much as you may hate to admit it, Halo is every bit as "generic" as Killzone. And no, a fancy map editor isn't going to change thatxYamatox
Halo's story and Universe made it VERY cliche for me. It's basic sci-fi setting. I worked in a book prcessing plant for a few years, and we would get art books for art colleges all the time, and everything that's in Halo has been done before, only 10x better. Heck, even the Ring-World idea was already done many years ago.
Now, I'm not saying Killzone is any less generic when it comes to it's universe, but no one is trying to say it's original in any way.
There's nothing generic about Halo and it's always the people who have something against it make that argument yet they can't back it up. There's not a single game out there that is like Halo and you know it.[QUOTE="MushroomWig"][QUOTE="tehsystemwarior"]Control Limitation.tume-xI can't wait to see how Playstation Move will play for RTS titles, it seems perfect for that genre. Except you haven't got a keyboard which is more important in an RTS.. with macros (quick self-assigned buttons combinations like "ctrl+alt+S" to do things faster) and all that. What does that certain combo do in SC2? I'm still learning.
[QUOTE="IAMSERIAL"]Exactly how many of those games can ONLY be done and played on pc? Some of those games are even from last gen.Arach666I believe all those games are PC only, and the oldest one I see there is Civ 4 from 2005... That's not what I meant.
I blame consoles... Lots of things to blame really. I particularly blame piracy and the cost of developing a game these days.[QUOTE="IAMSERIAL"]The graphical differences are so minimal between console and pc. It's nothing like HL2 vs last gen console graphics.mitu123
[QUOTE="IAMSERIAL"] Nobody is backpedaling. PC graphic differences are too minimal these days to give a rats ass about.lundy86_4
You didn't state multiplats in your initial point, and then included it after I stated about running Metro2033/Crysis on max details at a res above 1080p.
You also didn't answer my question about whether you played either of those games at max settings. So, did you?
I have Crysis and Crysis Warhead and I had Metro. I was able to play both on max settings. Crysis does look better than any other game and was the main reason why I upgraded my pc...however Metro 2033 looks great sometimes but ugly other times. Just because I didn't include multiplat in my initial post doesn't mean I didn't have that in mind. I don't have to be so descriptive about it. Multiplats is mostly what pc has these days so of course I had that in mind.
