@cicmetal This is the internet. When you're in the business of voicing your opinion online, you have to expect people to not agree with you and some of those people WILL attack you.(See RE6 review and comments) A journalist must have thick skin and can't take forum comments to heart. GS can always smack the rude people on the hand and even take away some of their privileges but that's not going to change anything. The internet is and always will be full of rude people who will attack you for voicing an opinion different from there's.

@WillyWynn To me there is nothing like the release of a new Rockstar GTA game. Other games come and go and I enjoy them but GTA games raise the bar, influence developers, and keep gamers wanting more. GTA5 has set a new standard for open world games and that can only be a good thing for the video game industry and most importantly us gamers. That's just my opinion though.

@bigfatjono Like I said before it's not the same. Forget everything you know about the other gta games and go into this one fresh. You won't be sorry. This actually changed my ideas of what open world games should be. I mean I just hate to see people miss out on things because of misinformation. If you liked vice city even a little bit, then there is no reason you wouldn't enjoy this game.

@bigfatjono Don't fool yourself. There's been a massive overhaul to the old gta mission formula. Play a demo or go to twitch and check out someone streaming this. It's getting 9's and 10's on the review sites for a reason. Don't miss out. It truly is the best GTA experience so far.

@Sithmaster-Jase I agree with what you're saying and I too have been gaming since the atari 2600. I've played all of the games you mentioned including every gta game released since the top-down 2d originals and I have to say that gta5 is a huge leap forward in graphics, especially considering they were able to achieve this level of quality on old hardware. And so many improvements to the old game play formula that you can't just call them fetch quests anymore. The missions are so varied you never know what you'll be doing next and not to mention the three main character concept was exceptionally done. This game truly deserves a 9.5 or a 10.

@Archimedes777 I'll give you that. So I'll put it this way. GTA 3 made the sandbox game sexy and more popular.

@Archimedes777 GTA started the whole "sandbox" thing and rockstar has a duty to build and improve on it with each new release. RDR and GTA5 both set new standards imo.
