[QUOTE="DaysAirlines"]Dear Lemmings, You know that this will be on the PS3 at some point, you are setting yourself up for ownage. Love, Days Airlines xoxoa_random_hobo

Who said anything about it not being on the PS3.... learn to read!

My point is Sony keeps losing supposed exclusives to the 360....

.... has the 360 lost any exclusives to the PS3.... NOPE!

 Oblivion

Oblivion was released on 360 and PC at the same time. So I don't see how you could consider it to be exclusive. The exclusive lost your looking for is Saints Row and as far as I know it's the only one so far. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is really an exclusive lost from the original Xbox but some people also consider it to be another one.

No 360 game that is also on PC is considered exclusive. It's been this way as long as I have been here, so I'm not sure what you are talking about.

They can't lose GOW 3......at leastHarlockJC

Or GT5. That's a huge game and probably the biggest series after GTA.

Lets wait till they lose a decent exclusive :DUrlacherMLB54

No one was hyping Ace Combat 6 because it had not been announced on anything and there was no info. So it's fair enough to say it was never hyped but DMC 4? That game was hyped through the roof by cows and listed as a big reason to get a PS3.

Cows will try to downplay these lost exclusives but not long ago DMC 4 was their big exclusive coming out this year and in the majority of their lists. I'm not all that interested in DMC 4 and never have been but Ace Combat 6 is a big surpise. I have been a fan of that series for ages and never thought it would come to a non-Sony platform, much less possibly be exclusive.

[QUOTE="ASK_Story"]

Here are some choices:

    • Tekken 6 (like Virtua Fighter 5, depending on VF5's sales on 360)
    • Metal Gear Solid 4 (rumors already stating Konami is coercing Kojima to port this to the 360 because of this: $$$)
    • Final Fantasy XIII (Sakaguchi said in GS's interview that FFXIII uses the White engine which is very easy to port to Microsoft. Also, Sakaguchi said that porting Final Fantasy to 360 makes sense from a business point of view).

Well? What else can pour more salt in Sony's wounds at this point?

Javy03

Capcom is not Namco, Konami or Square. Capcom are the people that made Resident Evil popular on the PS1 then ported it to Dreamcast and PS2, then made it exclusive on the gamecube with its small audience. Capcom is a company that makes five versions of Street Fighter 2 before they make a true sequel. Capcom is a company that just thinks of the quick buck. FF will never go to the 360 because it has no Japan support. That is a huge fanbase for FF. People need to stop reading to much into Capcoms moves. Remember Capcom took resident Evil from the PS2 that had a huge fanbase and made it exclusive on the gamecube, lol. Capcom going multiplat does not indicate that Sony is not doing well, its just Capcom, no loyalty, quick money.

Just Capcom? Last time I checked Ace Combat 6 (Namco) is now on 360 and seems to be exclusive at this point in time. That series has been exclusive to Playstation as long as the Tekken series has. There is also Sega who is bringing Virtua Fighter 5 to the 360. The PS3 is not selling as expected and if companies want to stay profitable they are going to have to shift development resources to adapt to the situation. Oh and for anyone with a short memory MGS was multiplat (PC, GC and PS1) and MGS 2 was also multiplat (Xbox, PC and PS2.) FF7 and 8 were also multiplat (PS1 and PC) so such a thing is possible.

That's completely true. I didn't even consider buying a 360 until the $600 (or $1000 where I live) price was announced at E3. Even then it wasn't until I started to see a shift of developers to 360, low demand for PS3, graphics that were no better than 360 and other factors that I started to think the 360 would be the platform to own. It wasn't all Sony's mistakes though, games like Gears of War and Mass Effect were big factors too.

I'm hoping for Tekken 6. Namco is one of my favorite developers and the thought of missing out on their games was one of the reasons I held off buying a 360 for so long. Ace Combat 6 is great news, Eternal Sonata looks ok but I would prefer something more along the lines of Xenosaga in terms of design and art. Tekken 6 would be the game that made me competely sure about my purchase of an Xbox 360. I can live without it and I'm going to be spending less on games this generation (wanting to spend less on gaming was one of the reasons I got a 360 instead of a PS3, where I live the PS3 costs $1000 with no games and i gota 360 premium for $600 with DOA 4 bundled) but having the option to purchase the game would be better.

I think they might still win but I doubt they will break 60 million.

[QUOTE="SuperKnightX"][QUOTE="Michael85"]Dead Rising and Lost Planet both sold over a million on the 360. Why the hell shouldn't they port DMC?TyrantDragon55

Devil May Cry is NOT the same type of game as LP and Dead Rising. Its very difficult and such games DMC and NG only sell great in Japan.

Devil May Cry has a respectable following in the states actually. How could Ninja Gaiden sell well in Japan when it's an X Box game?

DMC only sells well in Japan :| Sales for DMC in each region. US: 1.29 million, Japan: 0.65 million, others: 0.83 million. Seems to me it sells best in the US.
