[QUOTE="Immortalzxx"]1. Once again stop using gameplay mechanics...Chief and Cortanna were the only 2 to detect a covenant ambush in the original Halo when they were trying to rescue Keyes from that covenant craft. Humans in the Haloverse have had trouble detecting covenant ships and elites with their own technology which is 600 years ahead of our own. Even at the beggining of Halo 3. Chief was able to spot the Arbiter when he was using stealth while Johnson and the others didnt see him 2. You could of just said previous post but whatever...Covent dont specialize in stealth..but they have tactics far superior to human tactics in Haloverse and certainly from 600 years in the past 3. Dont use gameplay mechanics either...Snake would normally die if he gets shot..yet he is able to take shots and rockets as long as he has health and rations See why we dont use gameplay mechanics This isnt real life....these are fictional characters..trying to use real life physics in fiction = fail 4. No you have terrible debating skills..You use gameplay mechanics and try to use real life science to explain things that dont apply in those in those universes You say Snake can win be sniping Chief from a distance...Likewise Chief could win by sniping Snake from a distance...in a character vs character battle both characters are on equal ground...1 character doesnt get an advantage over another character tycoonmike
1,3. Then what do you expect me to use, actual physics? I've already given you my verdict on that: Snake, hands down, because of his emphasis on stealth as opposed to MCs emphasis on being a well-rounded infantryman. As I said, in real life, anyone would be able to notice the glimmer of active camoflague, so long as they're observant enough, because that's the way it works: bending light around a central object. In real life, granted, MC would probably have an infrared filter in his helmet, but such a technology would be useless in daylight, as most any Spec. Ops unit can tell you. And even then, a real life equivalent of Snake would also have infrared goggles. Notice how I've given two different scenarios: one in which MGS's physics apply to Snake and Halo's physics apply to MC and another where real physics apply to both.
4. As I said, I've given two scenarios, the gameplay physics and the real physics scenarios. You haven't answered either one. That is known as a dropped argument and is a fairly conclusive way to defeat yourself.
/double facepalm You have already given me your verdict: Snake...you are wrong Chief is a well rounded soldier...but all of his stats outclass Snake by a considerable margin...As you stated in real life anyone would be able to see the glimmer of active camo....maybe in MGSVERSE I dont think you have payed much attention...advanced human technology has trouble detecting covenant ships and infantry using their stealth technology, Chief is able to see them because of his heightened senses..of course you might of known that if you actually read the novels or played the actual game You gave me 2 scenarios...Chief wins in both...Chief can survive being shot..Snake cant...Chief is a better marksman then Snake..Chief can avoid enemy fire..Snake cant
