[QUOTE="Immortalzxx"] sigh...why do these people waste my time =/ 1. I never said they had another form of stealth technology...I said they had advanced stealth tactics... superior to any human tactics in Halo verse and certainly from 600 years in the past 2. Page 21? This entire thread has only reached 11 pages? Did you struggle in academics? 3. How about playing the game? They infiltrated a Forerunner construct... AND YOU ARE USING GAMEPLAY MECHANICS....You fail Learn to debate..stop using gameplay mechanics tycoonmike
1. And yet easily detected by my own naked eye. Granted, it is projected onto a television screen, but the fact remains that if we're to take Elite technology and make it real, as close to the game as possible, anyone who was observant enough would be able to detect the subtle glimmer of a shape being cloaked by bending light around the shape.
2. Two hundred posts, there or thereabouts, at ten pages a post equals twenty or so pages.
3. You're right, I am using gameplay mechanics because it is on those mechanics, a naive form of our own physics, that the technology you see is based on. If you want to continue this debate, it is from that realm you will have to debate from, not our own realm.
4. I have learned to debate, a hell of a lot better than you have as it seems. You are providing a naive-at-best interpretation of real life physics to determine the winner of such a contest without weighing all the variables. I am using the scenario provided by the game mechanics of both Halo and MGS to predict a winner. In that case, using naive mechanics as a benchmark, the winner is Master Chief because of Snake's fragileness as well as MCs heavy armor and shielding. Using real-life equivalents, however, the winner is Snake because a soldier with his level of training would easily be able to take MCs head off from a half-mile away with a sniper rifle, something Snake doesn't have in his arsenal in the MGS games, to my knowledge.
/facepalm 1. Once again stop using gameplay mechanics...Chief and Cortanna were the only 2 to detect a covenant ambush in the original Halo when they were trying to rescue Keyes from that covenant craft. Humans in the Haloverse have had trouble detecting covenant ships and elites with their own technology which is 600 years ahead of our own. Even at the beggining of Halo 3. Chief was able to spot the Arbiter when he was using stealth while Johnson and the others didnt see him 2. You could of just said previous post but whatever...Covent dont specialize in stealth..but they have tactics far superior to human tactics in Haloverse and certainly from 600 years in the past 3. Dont use gameplay mechanics either...Snake would normally die if he gets shot..yet he is able to take shots and rockets as long as he has health and rations See why we dont use gameplay mechanics This isnt real life....these are fictional characters..trying to use real life physics in fiction = fail 4. No you have terrible debating skills..You use gameplay mechanics and try to use real life science to explain things that dont apply in those in those universes You say Snake can win be sniping Chief from a distance...Likewise Chief could win by sniping Snake from a distance...in a character vs character battle both characters are on equal ground...1 character doesnt get an advantage over another character
