Count me in as another who thinks people are really exaggerating the selling power of LBP.
It's a 2D game without any recognizable characters and a game mechanic that is quite hard to fully explain briefly. In other words, it's going to be a very hard game to market effectively. Some are arguing that the aspect of designing your own levels appeals to a broader consumer base, but I think it's the opposite; people who only play a couple of hours a month aren't going to spend that time designing a level. Plus, it's a game that depends on online support more than just about anything, and we're still far away from having everybody playing their PS3 games online.
Brawl is out in 2 weeks in Japan with commercials already airing.
And voice chat for a fighting game is mostly pointless. Most are every man for himself and there's no need for active discussion in a team battle as you would need in World of Warcraft or any large scale FPS. Even with a 2 vs. 2 match, everything you need to know is presented on the screen, you might be talking to one person at the most and your duties are going to be extremely straight forward.
PDZ and Kamoe were rushed.
And Viva Pinata is a forgotten underrated game that no one played. THat is as close to a clas-sic rare game i have played in awhile.
It honestly was a return to form for them IMO.
Plus original Banjo team. They never left rare. they are still there. They are back to work on Banjo 3. I think it will be amazing.jg4xchamp
If Kameo was rushed after a goddamned era of development than Rare's problems have been understated.
[QUOTE="forgot_it"]The dude seems to be in SOCOM, .Hack and Onimusha too, that doesn't mean we'll be seeing them. He'll probably just be doing Voices for one of the enemies in the game.REforever101
he's listed as doing the voice of leon scott kennedy
IMDB is right up there with the least reliable sites on the internet. It makes zero sense that somebody got insider info on exactly one person who was doing voicework for the game and posted it on IMDB instead of anywhere else.

Okay. Super Button Mash Bros. is in EVO tournaments now, but they do have Marvel vs. Capcom 2 there as well so....
So what? It's quite the fighting game as well. As with all ignorant monkies who refuse to accept their own obvious wrongs, we will let gamespot settle this. After all, it's what we use to be the end all be all of game scores.

Oh well what do you know, it's genre is labeled fighting.
I think you missed my point entirely.
I think we all did.. Lets go back, you are trying to proove that super smash bros is not a fighting game. Everything around you basically says no. Where does that leave you?
No..you cannot speak for everyone reading my posts. So, don't try.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is one of the most button mashy fighters you can ever play. I was insinuating they allow button mashers into EVO as well. Basically what I'm saying is, and have been implying with the name change in Super Smash Bros., is Super Button Mash Bros. is a button masher.
I'm not trying to prove Super Button Mash Bros. isn't a fighter. I'm just trying to show how respected Super Button Mash Bros. is as a fighter among the gaming community.
Can you stop calling it Super Button Mash Bros.? It's not even the least bit clever.
