offline multiplayer is vital

it sucks when u have a bunch of freinds over, and everybody wants to play gears. but you have to settle taking turns at two player coop because offline 4-player deathmatch is not an option.

more games these days need the 4-player split-screen option. its so much more fun that way.

if everyone you see playing a DS is a kid, then i have to question whether or not you are a kid yourself

i'm over 20, and everyday i go downtown, i see an adult (30+) playing the DS on the subway or on the train

of course a kid wouldn't see this, because a kid would only be at his elementary/high school all day, and wouldn't see many adults in real life

often times i see adults (30+ age range) on the train and on the subway playing DS, while i never see adults playing the PSP

this thread starter doesn't know wtf he's talking about

No Online=No AAA...especially with a franchise that has lasted like 15 yearspoopinloop32

for all the reasons for zelda TP to not get AAA - "teh no online" has got to be the most rediculous one

wtf are you guys expecting? a coop gears-of-war-type zelda game where you and a team member go through dungeons hacking and slashing through enemies, shooting bad guys down with arrows, and screaming "BOOM HEADSHOT" all the way through? that what you want? or how about zelda DEATHMATCH, with kakariko village being the 'deathmatch arena of choice', where up to 40 players can duke it out online, shooting eachother down with bomb arrows, while kids online scream and whine about how using the spinner is "too cheap" and "for noobs"

that sound like a zelda game to you?

zelda is a 1 player experience - always has been. just because you have the ability to go online these days doesn't mean that all of a sudden all 1-player games should become multiplayer games. with that logic, zelda OOT should have been docked down from its perfect score because it didn't use nintendo 64's 4-player capabilities. not everything HAS to be online.

You could swing a sword with the sixaxis for the immersion , right sheep ? Or does the pad have to look like a TV remote to kill orcs?

i know you're being sarcastic, but still - lol @ holding the PS3 controller with one hand and swinging it around

and how could you move while sword swinging? wow, the sixaxis' motion control capabilities is a joke compared to the wii's. and no rumble on top of that too? lol

some people here will still take gamepsot's word as the gospel and consider the 68% score to be fact while completely disregarding the other scores

its scary to see how seriously some people take gamespot scores here
