The atmosphere and lighting alone are enough to make me want to play the sequel.

LoosingsEDNS can't even be a lemming correctly.

loosingENDS

Last of us kills halo 4

The definition of boring linear scriptd gameplay kills the king of gameplay in shooters

Sure thing

Halo 4 has 10x better graphics too

So the Last of Us is boring and scripted yet an on rails kinect game is not??

If there is anything I've learnt from ND games, it's that they are the absolute masters of integrating scripted events in gameplay without taking control away from the player. eg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAqS75fiS7Y

Your laptop most likely is not capable of pushing frames in the latest games unless you are content with atrocious graphics. If cost is an issue then get a console, if getting the best experience is the issue then build a desktop. If you're not willing to do that then I suggest a console since a gaming laptop is very expensive.

Id try a different game..Star wars is dwindling a slow death already..Patch 1.2 basically killed the game..Try terra or wait for elder scrolls or gw2..

I can't see Elder Scrolls online being any good. Unless they do some serious recruiting of MMO devs I think it will go the way of FFXIV. It will sell like hotcakes no doubt since the Elder Scrolls is basically synonymous with gamers (at least Skyrim is, not sure the majority of the new ES fans have or will ever play Morrowind or even Oblivion). I'm not particularly interested since Skyrim was such a let down.

I'm not sure it will be the best, but if there are new console announcements it will be the most interesting ever I think. Not because the new consoles will be that interesting, but I think seeing the direction they go will dictate how the gaming industry will go in the future. That is, whether core gaming will reside entirely on the PC with consoles being almost entirely for casual, whether both go core or whether they split.

I think all this talk of sales in various quarters or periods to justify the statement is over thinking the situation. Companies spout crap all the time to make their products seem better than they are, like when they said this was the Xbox's biggest year for games ever. This is just another example of massive over exaggeration to build hype.
