I see the PS4 fanboys have ran out of things to say.
Pre-ordered, heard about the DRM and complained, big time. They listened to the gamers and did what we expected.
Thank you Microsoft, let the Sony PS fans jerk off in front of their PS4 and then watched their online system fall apart once again whilst we enjoy a service we pay for.
I would ask this though, I do recall back in the past consoles the U.S. sports games such as Madden and NHL were different to their European counterparts.
Is this still true today and will it be the case now?
Will buy both new gen consoles because of the exclusives.
The only thing, and it's not a huge deal, is the PS4 Controller, why not have the analog stick on the far left? I know you can probably buy customized ones but always prefer the Xbox Controller.
Couple of things to point out, prices and DRM/Always online.
The cheapest package of the Playstation does not include the camera, not everyone will get it but bear that in mind considering the Kinect device is probably up to $100. Also we don't know what Sony intend to do with things like DRM and always online, they need to gain a lot of trust back after that horrible fiasco with the online store.
Nothing stopping Sony from peeping at you via the camera.
Well I guess if it needs to recognize you in front of Kinect and listen to your voice then yes it needs to be in a state with some form of power, you do know electricity is required for the computer to work right? Good grief Gamespot is running out of articles to put on.
These stories on Xbox One are getting boring, we have received little information from Microsoft as the console is at the early stages and once again some rumors spread around again to create a non-story.
Funny when they talk Privacy that Microsoft have a pretty good system in place whilst Sony's policy was... well nothing, let hackers go in and take data and go offline for weeks.
They said the same thing about the Xbox 360, how it would get blown away, not be successful and despite the red ring of deaths which was greatly exaggerated, Microsoft still ended up selling plenty of consoles.
The same will happen here, "Oh I am not buying the Xbox One." or "That does it I am not buying anything from Microsoft" is simply all talk and a flat out lie.
I will be purchasing the new console, I still have my old console and I don't buy pre owned games.
In the end, as we know it because there is no official Microsoft source confirming this that we don't have to pay a fee to play used games so there is no story here, Gamespot just have a habit of putting stories on here which have no official confirmation and just another time for an article to plug in thousands of comments.
So short memories when it comes to Sony, remember how accounts were hacked and online went offline for where your log in and payment card accounts were seen?
